Question about WABC's Sarah Wallace

It may seem a bit odd that I am posting this, but I noticed that everytime I see Sarah Wallace on Eyewitness News, while she is introducing and closing her piece, it looks like she is looking to the side of the camera and not directly into the camera. She does this both in the field and in the studio. I think she is a great reporter, but I am just curious as to why this happens.

Here are two examples:

She was clearly once told she has a "good side" and a "bad side" to her face, so she favors the "good side" on camera.

Shades of Claudette Colbert!

Her face is straight towards the camera. It just looks like her eyes are looking the other way. Maybe she's cross-eyed?
