joejoejo 3 Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 It seems like WJZ has removed their illegal IDs at this open. can you explain what you mean by illegal IDs and provide a video of what you mean
T.L. Hughes 903 Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 can you explain what you mean by illegal IDs and provide a video of what you mean What made WJZ's previous (pre-2014) news opens illegal in regards to IDs is the fact that it used the layout "this is WJZ-TV, WJZ-HD and WJZ.com, Baltimore". The inclusion of the website domain and the mention of "WJZ-HD" constitutes a violation of the FCC's rules for station identifications. A more compliant ID would be "this is WJZ-TV, Baltimore" or "this is WJZ-TV/DT, Baltimore".

Not necessarily in the order they should have, but they did nonetheless. Our government has much more important things to be worrying about than if some TV station is identifying themselves properly.....

24994J 5623 Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 Nothing groundbreaking here; graphics we've seen, music we've heard. Heck, this is a video many of us have already viewed in the past, and it's likely buried somewhere in this very forum, but on this day, it's always worth another look... [yt]wNMJrMpsVR4[/yt]
