ChocoMingo 44 Posted October 22, 2018 Posted October 22, 2018 (edited) I thought this was too complex for me to do, but I've done it. While I'm still working on WVTM, I decided that while it would be delayed for a while, since the only 2018 open on YT is a cold open. WVTM would've been uploaded today, but instead of WVTM, in it's place for today is the modern-day powerhouse that is ABC 33/40 (WBMA-LD/WCFT (WSES)/WJSU (WGWW)) that is next for their compilation. bmasters1 412 Posted October 23, 2018 Posted October 23, 2018 Well that disappeared quickly... It certainly did! Was there an update that quickly that caused the Junkie to take it down and redo it?

WWUpdate 1292 Posted October 23, 2018 Posted October 23, 2018 Jim Howl *and* Royal Norman in the same open? I wonder how that worked. Was one of them in the field and the other in the studio?
Samantha 2898 Posted October 24, 2018 Posted October 24, 2018 (edited) The open to the early edition of WCFT's 33 Eyewitness News for January 25, 1991 — the first open from this era to show up, and in 60fps no less: Edited October 24, 2018 by Guest 2
onthesea 292 Posted October 24, 2018 Posted October 24, 2018 Excerpts of some Boston TV newscasts (NECN, WBZ, WHDH, WCVB) from early June 1998. It's strange to see Jack Williams anchored on weekends! Did he do that for a short time? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mXMZ2FpVmZM

ChocoMingo 44 Posted October 27, 2018 Posted October 27, 2018 (edited) After days of finding and adding clips, I have finally finished the compilation for WVTM. Stay tuned in a few days for WIAT. Edited October 27, 2018 by Guest 1
KnoxvilleTVFan 286 Posted October 28, 2018 Posted October 28, 2018 It'll be interesting to see these news open montages for other markets. Speaking of which, here is a montage of NBC/KPLC commercials from 1985. Included is a KPLC "SevenNews" intro from 1985 featuring Cynthia Arceneaux at the anchor desk along with an unknown theme being used in the news open. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=id=RdKNvmkg6zA;t=612
