  1. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=id=q9Ylusmzc3Q;m=22;s=58 A 1985 NewsCenter 4 (KCNC) Late Edition cast. Note the different tone to the end cut of Newschannel being used. Nick

  2. Here is a classic WKRC news intro from 1986 featuring the classic WNDU 1986 News Theme package by Tuesday Productions. WKRC had used Tuesday's News Image before this theme. WAPT in 1987 used an unknown news theme at the time as evidenced in the opening of a news break. It may have been part of a WWLP news theme, but could be wrong. Their newscasts were known as "Channel 16 News". WNTZ, the current FOX affiliate, was your channel by the river during the independent days of the 1980s. Here is their image campaign.

  3. I'm curious if anyone has some classic 90's-era clips of Sherman, TX stations. Why I ask is, ol' IndyNewsOpens will no longer be in Indy possibly by March of 2017.

  4. This predates Symphony by about a year. There's an unknown WTLV package in ASCAP known as "The Works" by Shelly Palmer. This theme certainly merits that title.

  6. Get what WCPO's GM describes his reasoning of an eight month vacancy of their news director position: “This is an extraordinary station with a rich history and a progressive future. This news director job is like no other in the country with the broadcast and digital resources we have to cover the Tri-State.” Aside from their focus on digital and a paywall how is this different from other stations that are digital heavy? I mean they are DMA 36 and not the top 10.
