  1. Amen to that. Obviously we're all going to have to agree to disagree. The only reason we're even debating about this is because our President is the one that keeps bringing it up.

  2. A WSBT open with Prime News on Mother's Day 1994, not long after the station debuted new TVbD graphics. Look for the exceptional use of line breaks in the "Hats / off / to moms" graphic! There's also a little WNDU in here...

  7. I think you're thinking of their time in the newsroom while the outgoing set was being built and they were transitioning to HD. This is the set I think we're all talking about... https://forums.tvnewstalk.net/index.php?threads/wfld-new-set.11389/

  10. Here is the definition of an Troll, that I found from Wikipedia, in which you had mentioned someone in one of your other posts to look for work in, I think you fit the definition quite well! . In Internet slang, a troll (/ˈtroʊl/, /ˈtrɒl/) is a person who sows discord on the Internet by starting arguments or upsetting people, by posting inflammatory,[1] extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community (such as a newsgroup, forum, chat room, or blog) with the intent of provoking readers into an emotional response[2] or of otherwise disrupting normal, on-topic discussion,[3] often for the troll's amusement. And yes, I'm probably going to get a really "nice" message from you. . But that's to be expected, and thats just what you like to do, hence why you fit the bill of that definition really well. Now, in your response you stated that I have 1400 messages and 48 likes, and that we are all trolls. If we were trolls, we probably wouldn't have been able to posts this many messages and still be allowed to be on here. Secondly, you also claim that WPIX is a "Fake News" Organization. Do you have information and facts to back that up? Do you have an example of a fake news story that they produced? So I'm not sure how any of your comments really make sense or if they are even credible. Now if you want to take the time out of your busy schedule, in which you claim that we do not have, you can scroll through the majority of our comments and posts over the last 10 years in which this forum has been in existence. You'll see that they are quite constructive to the conversation. Unlike your 26 or so, comments of which the majority have overwhelmingly disrupted the conversation and created tension as the definition above states.

  15. As far as I'm concerned, he's far better off showing off his tin foil hat to the 5 viewers of WGCL CBS 46 TV Atlanta than being picked up by a company like Sinclair that will make him another "must run" in their agenda....

  16. You don't honestly think this guy is putting himself on the air completely unvetted? Newsflash***** WGCL is in on all this. It's a trial balloon ...and an interesting one at that. The crowdfunding plea is fantastic. How else would one be able to do a thorough investigation without funds....AND Meredith is poor. They got balls trying... And based on the performance of the media over the last year, I would say i'm not shocked. This should be really fun to watch , lets see if Merideath has the balls to play this out, and not chicken out. Hope this reporter is ready to play!

  17. Language most likely, though I wouldn't be surprised if it's both. Have to agree, as much as he was correct, an outburst like that on the air is suspendable. Now, of course, this was the same company that let Ernie Anastos go pretty unscathed after he told us to keep fornicating poultry.

  18. I'd say that this guy is hurting WGCL's ratings but that would mean they had any to begin with. But seriously, is there anyway WGCL could theoretically terminate his contract when he does shenanigans like this?
