  1. And this is how WGN remembered John Drury when he died in 2007:

  3. If that's still an issue then KFOR is going to have to make the time/temp bug small enough to fit in with the Nexstar Political L3rds (either that or do what WGN does and integrate it into the Tribune package)

  4. Just listened to my first WCAU weather report on KYW Newsradio (that felt weird to type)... They apparently have to tag out with "Count on It".... ...I'm completely dead.

  5. I think it'll be on a market by market basis. Take LA for example. Hypothetically that cluster could partner up with say KABC but right up the coast, the SF cluster could stay with KPIX.

  6. Not yet. CBS is using the new graphics on the some of the stations CBS 2 NY , CBS 2 LA , CBS 2 Chicago , and the new Lowe 3rd has been teased on CBS 4 Denver.

  7. People, what we have here is a mix of the CBS O&O package and the CBSN package. That's what we will see going forward.

  8. Sad to see her go, she was part of the most-versed and well-rounded panel that The View has ever had. This team has been firing on all cylinders and it has made for lively debates and conversation, you can really tell that they know what they were talking about and knew how to naturally be themselves, you can tell that they weren't simply rephrasing talking points spoonfed by producers. On Monday, she seemed to have kept the idea or returning open, so I wouldn't be surprised if she comes back after her father's campaign ends in June. As for all the rumors coming from Page Six, I feel like The View tends to get more publicity from inner conflicts just because the public likes to see a good catfight when it's between women. All workplaces and shows have conflict, it's the nature of the business, but you hardly hear anything coming from an all-guys team on The NFL Today or Fox NFL Sunday, it's a double standard unfortunately.

  10. WNT actually stuck with it for 15 minutes, and had a quick mention of it coming out of the first break before reporting on the impeachment trial showdown and the state of emergency in Puerto Rico. The final two minutes was a wrap up of the breaking news. Regardless of how long each network covered it, keep in mind that the evening news teams at ABC, CBS and NBC spend hours each day building the thirty minute newscast. For them to throw out all that work just minutes before air time and reshape the entire program on the fly, based on actual breaking news, is no small feat. Kudos to all of them.
