c'mon it's a simple violation it isn't even suspend able, nor is it terminable. could just been a good review of contract rules by the bosses. Sunbeam did something stupid already starting of on a bad foot post Ed Ansin era!!! Good thing will come when good doors closes better doors will open.

Totally agree. Boneheaded move by Sunbeam. I can understand not following a contract's stipulations and maybe other miscellaneous/unwanted liability concerns, but there's nuance to every situation. And Alaina was just recently promoted several months back (if I recall correctly) so she was clearly doing something right for the station. Reactions on social media seem to reinforce this. If she stays in news, I can definitely see her being taken up by another station before year's end.

Definitely an overreaction by the station. Good for her to take the high road in the announcement. I think the station should rethink their decision to terminate.

This feels like an overreaction; I don’t even think this is a suspendable offense in my eyes. She made a mistake not having the station sign off on her apparence but the scene is innocuous enough and the content certainly wouldn’t violate any morals clause. Hopefully this backlash will find Pinto new work.

Maybe if Zucker leaves, maybe the new CEO will fix all the problems he created.

Kent Morrison, one of the weekday morning show anchors on Global Edmonton, has been poached by CTV Edmonton. CTV Edmonton has been looking for new anchors for its local morning show since the termination of their previous morning show anchors, Rob Williams and Stacey Brotzel.

I feel bad for Brooke. I think she has more longevity on CNN compared to Kate or Brianna. I've said before that Zucker is the main problem with why CNN is going downhill. The whole yelling panels haven't worked. As for all new anchors, I would really hate to see staples like Wolf Blitzer and Anderson Cooper leave, although Wolf will probably retire in 5 years or less. (he says he's not ready yet). I think Erin Burnett is better for financial news and always thought she was better at CNBC. I know many people think Jake Tapper should have been the permanent host for "This Week" 10 years ago. Chris Cuomo seems burned out but wants to stay at CNN. I'm not sure about what Don Lemmon would do, maybe anchor at MSNBC. I wish AT&T would realize that Zucker has ruined nearly everything he's touched in his career and force him to resign, but instead they let him run all of their sports broadcasting divisions too. I'm not sure if he's ruined those assets too.
