  1. Interesting. Seems that KTRK, KABC and WABC are still following social distancing guidelines with anchors noticeably spaced across the studio. Weather and sports anchors are stationed in different parts of the studio as well. All this despite the fact that anchors are posting social media photos hugging one another, having guests inside the studio, etc. GMA also seems to be following social distancing guidelines with Ginger and Lara still stationed remotely. Not trying to be that guy but it just seems odd to me considering they’ve all likely been vaccinated for months and aren’t particularly following the same guidelines off the air. The distance is simply not visually appealing. /rant over

  2. Why are you taking the cameraman's side and calling her pathetic? He claims the allegations to be false, but as the article suggests, it wasn't just Narmeen reporting his inappropriate behavior, it was multiple staffers.

  3. WLS began going back to normal anchor distance starting last Friday (reopening day), with the 4 weeknight anchors completing the transition this past Monday. Sports is done from a stand-up position, and one meteorologist at a time is in a studio next door (AM meteorologist Tracy Butler is still at home, having had cancer in the last couple years). Even the morning consumer anchor is seated at the desk for her reports.

  4. WPVI in Philly has almost all of their on-air people back in-studio and the anchors are sitting closer together (not pre-COVID closeness).

  5. https://nypost.com/2020/01/11/wpix-cameraman-claims-he-was-fired-over-false-racism-accusations-from-muslim-anchor/ Now that I think about it, I wonder if this has something to do with her departure.

  6. Didn't Narmeen Choudry have some kind dispute with a cameraman?

  7. That's not another possibility. That clearly falls under this...

  8. Greg is the only one sports anchor that's there.

  9. He seems like a fairly seasoned sports anchor…is Greg Bailey still with the station? They’ve lost Bob Slovak (huge loss) and David Nuno recently.

  10. From the Daily Beast: So yeah, she know exactly what she was doing. I guess she wanted a head start on her Newsmax/OAN audition, unless she considers them to be corporate media.

  11. A rare clip of Susan Rosensgen. She basically was WABCs Deborah Norville.

  12. Who says Ginger wouldn’t be leaving GMA or promoted to co-anchor? Sam would only go to be the co-anchor of Good Day and then Mike would be the one who’s playing second fiddle. Anyhow will see what happens.

  13. Mkay. Regardless they don’t need 5 weather people. My guess is Sam is going to GDNY or Lee’s going to GMA.

  14. It would make sense. Perhaps Brittney is going to do weekend morning weather and Amy is going to take Sams place doing the weekday morning weather if Sam is going to GDNY. It would make sense given Sam has subbed on Live and GMA. In fact he did audition to co-anchor for Eyewitness News during the weekends in the late 80s. I think he would make a good fit for GDNY and that he could work well with Rosanna. John Eliot is another possibility although I think Sam would be the better choice. Also it’s better hours for Sam. Even tho 7am is still very early it’s not as early as 4:30am is.
