  2. That was all I could think of when they said that on CBS Mornings. I can't wait for Gayle King's Top 10 Lists to debut.

  4. My guess is they probably needed authorization (i.e., paperwork) to drop off the fruit basket and cake LOL.... Reminds me of the time David Letterman, during his days at NBC, once tried to bring a fruit basket to GE's headquarters only to be told he needed authorization, and he and his crew were later thrown out of the area by the company's rude security people; this was right around the time GE bought NBC in the mid-'80s On that note, if you watch the Letterman clip on YouTube, right when Dave and his crew start filming near the GE building, you'll see at least 3 or 4 people a number of feet behind Letterman emerge from the building with a look of shock and disbelief on their face! Apparently, they had no idea he was coming!

  5. Isn’t it amazing how Nexstar was the latest group to the game for live streaming because the C-Suite could never understand why people would watch on their phones. And then… [NN] not being an OTT product. Just amazes me.

  6. Sorry if someone already covered this... But in today's NOT hard news, "Tony and Nate's Excellent Adventure" took a tour of Times Square and CBS seems to have no problem recognizing who's turf they're on. They even tried to bring GMA a fruit basket and cake...

  7. No, they didn't. The package they're using is 5 years old. They keep intermixing that with graphics from the 2013 package and the CBSN package. It's a branding mess. It shows your audience that you are unorganized and as it bleeds into the journalism, the audience senses that the stations aren't doing their best coverage.

  8. Some good promos on the KTLA Creative Services Twitter account. Really captures how KTLA is focused on the community and how strong their various news teams are.
