I read the part about "certain favors" on FTV life and I questioned it's reputablilty. Its amazing though that these circumstances haven't been blown up in the media like national level scandals such as Matt Lauer or Roger Ailes. (If this is true)2 points

I guess you could say that. Supposedly (if former sports anchor Laura Behnke’s lawsuit is reliable), Lori Stokes was allegedly asked to…let’s just say, give certain favors to Dave Davis (the GM at the time) in exchange for a better contract. If those allegations are true, that probably contributed to Lori wanting to get the heck out of there.1 point

Nielsen DMAs basically no longer exist, so I think we would now have to go off by metro area population. The old Meredith package was based off of WOIO’s, but first they need to fix their VHF/encoding issues and potentially drop a few subchannels before anyone will be convinced to watch WOIO to get new graphics.0 points

For this (Nightly News at 10pm) to work, the West Coast edition as seen on KNBC and KNSD would need to be scrapped and the regular version aired on time-delay. It would integrate nicely thanks to those two stations having 11pm local newscasts.0 points

There's this article from when MyNetworkTV was two years into being a programming service, with this highlight from Nexstar CEO Perry Sook: "With MyNetworkTV, I get more inventory per hour than I would get from Fox or ABC, albeit at lower ratings."0 points

Telemundo did that in the 90s it was so successful it only lasted 11 months before reverting back. But no it did but NBC needs to keep in mind the FOX affiliates. Again simulcasting for stations that produce 10pm news on other stations well I guess it could work never mind. Than more news or Jimmy at 11pm but west coast editions go away then. I’m talking 6:30 there.0 points
