Chopper 2 (and its pilot) got a bird smash through the cockpit this morning in Kenosha. Thankfully superficial injuries to the pilot and they were able to land safely near the state line.

6A actually launched earlier than Monday. Yes, it hit the air Monday but it was a live studio prior to that as Kelly tapes about a week in advance. The season premiere that aired on Monday was taped on October 10. But the launch of 6A has very little connection to 3B. If you were looking for a studio launch that could impact WNBC, look to the other half of the studio. With WNBC and WNJU sharing 3B, you are bringing two spaces online at the same time. Not to mention the logistical hurdles associated with moving WNJU into 30 Rock.

I'm pretty sure CNN used the new show titles in TV listings and on the gray box below the CNN bug/on the ticker last week, but last night was apparently the official debut of the new 10pm and 11pm primetime shows. Count on a legacy NPPA station to make a temp setup look sharp.

Pretty easy to explain that one (WVTV-DT2 does the same thing); they want the network to start on time for the sake of DVRs and just throwing on episodes of iCrime in that 9-10 timeslot that aren't critical to watch in full is a good buffer to assure it starts at 10 in case the game does go into overtime or runs late because of a weather delay.

Heard Jeff was difficult to deal with. He and Shaina didn’t seem to mesh well on the air and it showed. Unsure of the details but I think the station made the right move.

There was an issue with lighting. Got pushed back a week. Next week now.

Ken Jeong talker will be Sinclair, Nexstar or Scripps for the fall of 2024. I watched Popstar Today since it moves when LIV Golf is on the ads are only Poshmark which the host Elizabeth Staton should say brought to you by Poshmark, and also just promos for news and the sitcoms with a couple of buy direct ads.

That I get. Especially with another new studio launched yesterday in 6A for Kelly Clarkson.
