  1. More and more FOX O&Os are incorporating original programming onto their streaming channels, which can be seen via FOX Local. I know KMSP goes All Day from Noon to 5:00 p.m., and now, another great example from WITI Milwaukee. I already told you about their daily Wisconsin Weather Experts program that airs at Noon, right after the midday news at 11:00 a.m. Now, they have The Wisconsin LIVE Desk, which airs from 12:30-2:30 p.m. https://www.facebook.com/benhandelmantv/posts/pfbid08LiarWvmsVdsMfgKE75j3bMHdMrXEEc5cHXd8dJT14aGmsmYdB26BVM6BuMRVwzEl

  2. Hahaha. I try not to. I do it for all of y'all. This is the stuff we nerd at and dork at. If I find them in time, I'll share them so y'all don't feel left out.

  3. A true end of an era is coming... The Queen of the Capital Region, WRGB's Liz Bishop, has announced her retirement. May 30th will be her last day and will mark the end of a 52-year era in Capital Region television news. It's the only station she ever worked for in her career, a RARITY in today's business. https://cbs6albany.com/news/local/cbs6-news-anchor-liz-bishop-announces-retirement-after-more-than-5-decade-career

  4. I know that the morning news was cut to 2 hours some time ago, and I happen to catch the 11am show today, and both Keith and Erin were anchoring. Are they the regular anchors at that time now, and if so, I wonder if the cut to the morning news was done for that purpose?

  5. Yeah, it's getting common. In DC, WTTG, has the FOX 5 Live Zone from 12-2pm, the only 2 hours between 4am-7:30pm where they don't have local programming over the air. Reminds me of how KTLA had 5 Live to fill in time online when they still aired syndicated shows in the daytime.

  6. I don’t get this rumored turmoil around GMA3. It’s hard to see anything else bringing in more than what’s there now. Has to be pretty cheap to produce as a pre-recorded 3rd hour of the morning show.

  7. ‘GMA3: WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW’ DRAWS ITS LARGEST AUDIENCE IN 5 WEEKS, OUTDELIVERS NBC IN TOTAL VIEWERS AND ADULTS 18-49 Looks like the 4-anchor format has been a game-changer for GMA3. ABC has been touting the rating gains (via press releases) for several weeks.

  8. Wow. She is one of the few anchors I've watched while getting WPTV in Northern Broward County in 2005 (alongside WPEC, WFLX, and WXEL), thanks to a robust analog signal at my grandma's (at the time) trailer park. Shannon Cake is hanging it up after nearly 30 years at WPTV, and this Friday is her last day there. Some of the last of the old guard are slowly leaving this heritage station, and I'm sad to see her go. https://www.wptv.com/about-us/wptv-anchor-shannon-cake-a-look-back-at-her-29-year-career-at-the-news-station

  9. Mike was out covering the Diddy trial yesterday. Not sure about today but yesterday he did several reports for all evening shows.

  11. You don't miss a beat! I've seen numerous articles calling Deborah Norville the longest running female US anchor which isn't true given Liz Bishop's tenure. Perhaps they mean national anchor but that distinction isn't clearly being made.

  12. I noticed these days that Mike Marza never fills in for Bill Ritter when he's not at 5pm and 6pm. Is there any logical reason for this? (not that I mind, of course, I'm just curious) Yesterday Sandra was there for Bill at 5pm, today we had David and Sandra at 5pm; Liz did both days at 6pm only. I thought that because Mike was Bill's soon-to-be replacement, he would be his immediate replacement on his time off.
