Ok, this helps A LOT. Helps not make it feel so cluttered. With the weekday backgrounds, it makes me a little claustrophobic, too much going on.3 points

Changing some of the background graphics makes a difference. The Saturday edition of CBS Mornings looks much cleaner and without the excessive "yellow/gold" like on weekdays.

The 2012 graphics would have been even better with rectangular corners on the right instead of trapezoidal. CBS Mornings/CBS This Morning has been clueless about lower thirds since removing that package. Everything has been flat and cartoonish ever since.1 point

Actually now that you mention it, the 12 graphics aged well, just maybe some light color adjustments and they're better then the current package.1 point

The 2012 set just looked more...grounded and authoritative - yet inviting and authentic. The new set does look okay on the air. But I don't see this new set lasting more than a couple of years (and that might be generous) without more changes.1 point
