1. lol here we go. Just cause you suggest someone to come back doesn't mean you are them, related to them or know them. Chris was a perfect fit for the morning show and got along with everyone on any show years back when he was on. I would like to see him get that spot too. The people they have aren't the worst they just aren't on in the right spots, some of them do have a following and getting rid of everyone is a big risk and usually doesnt work.

 2. ...It won't just be the morning anchors, and it appears there may be some promos shot at this loft-looking venue, too. To note, whether or not they make it to air (or for how long), 10pm opens will apparently be included, even though the rejoins haven't been used for like 2 years. From Cheryl Scott's Snapchat feed... ... Also, with Charles Thomas retiring at the end of this week, the station has made it clear that they are in no real hurry to directly fill the political role, temporarily folding it into the general story rotation. An interesting thing I picked up in Feder's post is that Derrick Blakley is referred to as CBS 2's political reporter. I hadn't heard that someone had assumed that position after Jay Levine's semi-retirement. http://www.robertfeder.com/2017/02/28/abc-7-retirement-nears-charles-thomas-working-hard-ever/ Fun fact: based on this location tag, they're shooting at the Museum of Broadcast Communications:

 4. WANE in 1985... In March, the Corinthian-era set was still in use but the stripe colors had changed: But by June, WANE had a new set and...Newschannel!? Newschannel was gone by February 1986, and its replacement (the second version of the CBS News ticker) was out by 1987.

 5. A semi truck that was too tall snagged a power line, leaving WKMG in the dark and forcing it to cancel an hour of news today. They wound up airing Rachael Ray instead of their 4pm show.

 6. And now, I have just finished reading that TVSpy story without going to TVSpy because all details were provided. Thanks, TVNT.

 7. New Zealand's TV3 ... I mean +HR=E, got a new name and branding. Not many people seem to like it. I'm a little mixed, but their previous logo looked a bit dated and serious. This feels energetic and young, but the logo is a little off.

 9. Another NewsActive3 upload; this is the December 4, 1970 ABC Evening News (Howard K. Smith's on vacation; leaving Frank Reynolds anchoring solo on this - the last newscast before he was pushed aside in favor of Harry Reasoner on the ABC anchor desk; not to return until the 1978 premiere of the World News Tonight format)
