I keep pushing the new 3 logo in this darn elevator to get WKYC on the screen and nothing happens! Lol!

I don't neccesarily think that Weigel is beefing with Nexstar in any manner. If anything, they probably know that Nexstar bought Antenna TV as part of the merger with Tribune and Nexstar will likely convert most of their stations that aren't already affiliated with the network into one.

Looks like WFLA is also dropping MeTV as well. It's going to Hearst's WMOR. No word from Channel 8 on what will occupy that 8.2 allotment. I'm surprised Nexstar didn't drop MeTV in Vegas (KLAS).........

Well...I think it's time to move the discussion about the impending doom of WKYC here. It goes farther than a bad logo or the Tegna-fi-cation-itis it's been subjected to (or about to be).... It's already been trashed, but this revamp could transform the station into something unprecedented....and based on the common opinion, unprecedentedly BAD!

Even this piece of 80's design would be an improvement....

I agree with both AMC and OLTL coming back as half hour soaps, instead of full hour soaps. Less is more. Soaps having such rich histories and legacies associated with them. I could see CBS mulling over reviving 1 or 2 of its canceled soaps, shortened to half hour broadcasts, if Let's Make A Deal or The Talk was to get axed. As the World Turns, much like OLTL, was getting better near the end of its run. Guiding Light may have been in trouble in its last years. Or I could see Capitol being revived, even though it's been gone since 1987.

Take a look right here. Why does WKYC have to go for a circle logo? They are being a copycat.
