Turmoil at KVUE (ABC 24). The GM's out, the news director's out, the main anchor is out, now the chief meteorologist. What the hell is going on at KVUE?! They must be cleaning house or what!
-
First the GM is leaving, then Tyler Sieswerda is leaving as well, and now the news director? What the H is going on at KVUE?

There's soon going to be an anchor change in Cleveland's WEWS ABC 5. IT'S NO APRIL FOOL'S JOKE! It's not a done deal, but word is that Sports Director/Anchor Rob Powers of New York's WABC-TV is heading to Cleveland to succeed Chris Flanagan who's contract is not renewed. Powers who was hired at ABC flagship station in New York worked in Ohio before, he was the 5:30PM news anchor and 6 & 11PM sports anchor at WTVG in Toledo. WEWS can't say on Flanagan's future with the station, but look for something soon. http://www.ftvlive.com/todays-news/2016/4/1/wabc-sports-anchor-heading-to-cleveland-for-news

As it turns out, its not just Murray who going to be gone soon; but Lee Thomas and Jason Carr as well. The station has also cut a few behind the scenes staff as well. http://www.adweek.com/tvspy/detroit-fox-station-makes-cuts/167121

Another main anchor departure, but this time in Austin. Tyler Sieswerda is leaving Austin's KVUE ABC 24 will soon depart ABC affiliate in late May, with plans to to Dallas. That's where his partner CBS News correspondent Manuel Bojorquez, lives. No word on who will succeed Tyler in the anchor desk. http://www.mystatesman.com/news/business/kvue-tv-anchor-sieswerda-leaving-in-may/nqtQB/

Word from FTVLive that long-time anchor/reporter Murray Feldman of Detroit's WJBK FOX 2 is heading out the door. Reason is because his contract deal will not be renewed and he'll be gone from station in May. There's also word that two on-air staffers have been told they are done after their deal comes up. http://www.ftvlive.com/todays-news/2016/3/28/ax-swings-at-motown-fox-oo

It looks like WKBW's Keith Radford isn't going anywhere anytime soon, its because the Buffalo's ABC affiliate has extended his contract. http://www.adweek.com/tvspy/it-looks-like-this-buffalo-anchor-is-getting-a-new-contract/166436

Is there any news on someone or somebody blocking the Nexstar/MG merger?
-
Say a prayer for Glenn Burns and for his family and wish him a full recovery.
-
He's my favorite weatherman here in D/FW, hate to see him go at KTVT and heading to the Windy City.

Sad news out of San Antonio, and it is with a very heavy heart to tell you that retired long-time KENS 5/KMOL (Now WOAI) anchor Fred Lozano died today after a 1 1/2 year personal battle with leukemia. Lozano first worked at WOAI/KMOL in 1972, then jumped to KENS-TV in 1977 before moving to back KMOL (Now WOAI) in the mid 90s and back to KENS 5 in the late 90s. Lozano retired from KENS 5 in 2012, he leave behind his former wife and anchor (Karen Chapman) and his three children. TVNT would like to offer our prayers and condlences to the family of Fred Lozano and the staff of KENS 5. http://www.kens5.com/story/news/local/2016/02/24/former-kens-5-anchor-fred-lozano-passes-away/80873168/ http://news4sanantonio.com/news/local/former-san-antonio-anchor-fred-lozano-dies

The only two talk shows I watch is Maury and Dr. Phil, that's it.
-
I hope and pray that their 20th year will be the last. And I said it before, I'll say it again; I rather continue watching soap operas, court shows, and game show than to watch dumb daytime talk shows like The View (ABC) and The Talk (CBS).

Good news from long-time legendary Houston sports anchor. Former KTRK now KHOU Sports Director/Anchor Bob Allen is cancer free. Bob hasn't been on the air since he announced last summer that he was diagnosed with form of T-Cell Lymphoma. Bob posted this message on his Facebook page. "Just wanted all of you out there to know I'm doing MUCH better...the cancer is gone! I am now in the rehab facility at MD Anderson trying to regain the stamina, strength & coordination I lost during the months of the stem cell transplant process. Everyone including myself is very optimistic. Feel like I'm on the downhill run. The constant is that it couldn't have been done without your many prayers and wishes, and you'll never ever know how grateful I am. Still got a ways to go before the strength is back, but we're getting there. Its been an ordeal and there are still way too many folks still battling that need your prayers. Regrets: missing the Astros post season... positive... but seeing Kubiak & Wade send a message to a certain Houston owner & GM that...you know maybe the coaching wasn't so bad here during those 8 years... just might have been the Texans didn't know how to build a team. (Rick)..Anyway I'm gonna keep rehabbing... God Bless you & see you soon." TVNT would like to send our prayers get well wishes to Bob Allen, and hope to see him back on the air soon. http://www.khou.com/story/about-us/2016/02/22/good-news-from-khou-11s-bob-allen/80727004/

The main anchor who replaced Mike Barajas in 2011 is out. Former CBS & NBC News correspondent Don Teague is no longer at Houston's KRIV FOX 26. Melinda Spulding who also anchors the 5 & 9PM Newscasts will anchor solo until the station finds a replacement. http://www.adweek.com/tvspy/don-teague-out-at-kriv/164229 http://www.ftvlive.com/todays-news/2016/2/18/anchor-bounced-at-fox-oo

BREAKING NEWS: I lost count of how many people retired from Tampa Bay's FOX 13 WTVT, but now long time sports director/anchor Chip Carter is hanging up the mike. Chip joined WTVT in 1988 as sports anchor and reporter until 1996 when he was named sports director after the death of long-time sportscaster Andy Hardy from throat cancer. Carter is retiring 2 1/2 weeks from Friday (Feb. 26th). http://www.fox13news.com/about-us/87813859-story

I would picture Alan anchor take the 5 & 10PM in addition to his 4 & 6PM duties. Unless someone take the 4PM anchor seat and let Alan anchor the 5/6 & 10PM.
