  1. Why would Sinclair complain? KNEP is Gray's station.
  2. Page 61 of this PDF is very interesting. I think they meant KTWO on the first call mentioned (KKTO). I know this is speculation right now by should this Gray/Legacy WY deal gets the greenlight, could Gray replace KOTA's signals on KSGW & KNEP for KTWO's? This would make total sense if you ask me.
  3. That's the first thing that came through my mind. KDLH branding still have a "3" on it, despite being on 6.2. I wouldn't be all that surprised if "reverse" the move they did a couple of years ago.
  4. New M&A. Looks like Quincy wants to acquire KDLH & WISE outright. I guess since the shift of networks after the Granite deal (each are now standalone CW affils), these two stations are now fifth place. Purchase Price: $1.74M ($1,745,661 (WISE $952,884 & KDLH $792,557))
  5. Another O&O reporter is doing the same. Former ABC News correspondent, now KABC reporter Brandi Hitt did reports for not just KABC, but for KGO & WLS.
  6. The books end on the 23rd.
  7. That station can't catch a break with all these departures.......
  8. The WJAX Hoffman deal is done. Closed yesterday (5/8).
  9. Another amendment regarding the Gray/Legacy Wyoming deal. On the KFNE/KTWO apps, they've attached a shared service agreement for Gray to operate, and an option agreement for Gray to acquire the LPs of the proposed Legacy stations.
  10. They're kin to the founder of WCIU, John Weigel (Tim's father and Rafer & Jenniffer's grandfather). Shockingly enough they kept the Weigel name all this time, even though its been owned by the Shapiro family almost the entire existence.
  11. A small M&A. RNN is buying another station. This time in the Delmarva. They're buying Western Pacific Broadcast's WMDE for $11.5M.
  12. The deal was greenlighted on a SUNDAY?!!! (4/22). It is now completed.
  13. So KGO is bringing back the Circle 7 pins?
  14. Another news expansion. WDSU 6 is adding an hourly 12pm broadcast in the fall. AM anchor Charles Divins & 4pm anchor Gina Swanson will head the new broadcast.
  15. Without the outdated loophole, Yes.
  16. Not saying that it'll happen again, but if history serves, they've done cosmetic changes the Saturday before the books, instead of the first Saturday of. The EWN 2013 rebrand & the set change two years later, all happened on the Saturday before the November sweeps.
  17. Yeah, their [scripps] "quality" is not quality. That's why I said, "What Quality?"
  18. Approved. Quality? What Quality???......
  19. Wonder if they bought their channel 22 transmitter yet. They suppose to move frequencies & vacate RF 44 sometime next year.
  20. KCRA will be another NBC affil to jump the 4am bandwagon. They'll start it on April 23.
  21. A small M&A. Legacy Broadcasting is selling its North Dakota stations KNDM/KNDB to BEK Sports for $950K.
  22. Sandra is anchoring EWN @ 12:44am! solo.
  23. The deal has closed. Have the programming changes went in effect earlier this week?
  24. He will start on the week when the May Books start (on the 26th).
  25. She came back a few weeks ago. Upon her return, she was only anchoring the 11pm. I'm not sure if she's back on at 5pm.
