The WJAX Hoffman deal is done. Closed yesterday (5/8).

Another amendment regarding the Gray/Legacy Wyoming deal. On the KFNE/KTWO apps, they've attached a shared service agreement for Gray to operate, and an option agreement for Gray to acquire the LPs of the proposed Legacy stations.

They're kin to the founder of WCIU, John Weigel (Tim's father and Rafer & Jenniffer's grandfather). Shockingly enough they kept the Weigel name all this time, even though its been owned by the Shapiro family almost the entire existence.

A small M&A. RNN is buying another station. This time in the Delmarva. They're buying Western Pacific Broadcast's WMDE for $11.5M.

The deal was greenlighted on a SUNDAY?!!! (4/22). It is now completed.

So KGO is bringing back the Circle 7 pins?

Another news expansion. WDSU 6 is adding an hourly 12pm broadcast in the fall. AM anchor Charles Divins & 4pm anchor Gina Swanson will head the new broadcast.

Not saying that it'll happen again, but if history serves, they've done cosmetic changes the Saturday before the books, instead of the first Saturday of. The EWN 2013 rebrand & the set change two years later, all happened on the Saturday before the November sweeps.

KCRA will be another NBC affil to jump the 4am bandwagon. They'll start it on April 23.

A small M&A. Legacy Broadcasting is selling its North Dakota stations KNDM/KNDB to BEK Sports for $950K.

She came back a few weeks ago. Upon her return, she was only anchoring the 11pm. I'm not sure if she's back on at 5pm.

Despite not making any significant accomplishments during his tenure, I would give kudos to Kiernan for being on this long.

A small M&A. Ramar wants to take advantage on the updated duopoly rules in Lubbock. They're buying Wolfforth, TX's CW station KLCW, from Woods (owner of Fox station KJTV-TV) for $100K.

Liberman closed the sale last Thursday. And has switched programming to Estrella over the weekend.

Follow-up. Gray will donate KGWC's license to Central Wyoming College, which they own a chain of PBS outlets throughout the state. There will also be callsign & virtual channel changes as well. From the donation agreement:
