  2. This is a big find: KGTV 1986 newscast with "News 88"! I wonder if the "News 88" title is even accurate at this point?? Maybe a spin-off of "The News Image"?

  20. Was there any date associated with it? I am quite sure it debuted in 1983 based on YT clips, but I was curious. On a side note, I wonder if he'll ever get around to changing the WBNS '77 listing to Gavin/Connors?
  21. OK, so this is really interesting: The NMSA has found the composer for the "WTSP 1983 News Theme" used from 1983-1989. It is not Tuesday Productions, as I long suspected. It's William Douglass Benge. Anybody know any information about this composer???

  23. There were quite a few stations that also used a red/white/blue color scheme to some degree in the '80s. WFLA, owned by Media General, had the color scheme between 1985-1989.
