You're bang on!

This looks better than Scripps, which is saying something about Scripps
-
Not according to my friends at Nexstar.
-
Ratings drive ad revenue and that drives profits. They are taking revenue from their local stations, none of which are #1 in any market, and using it to fund NewsNation. I guess, if you don't give a crap about the content, sure, it's successful. By that metric, Scripps using AI and few responding to it could be classified as successful, because it brings in a profit. Who cares if the community is getting anything out of it, right?

That's pretty damn special. Well deserved, Tom.

You could have offered some commentary like, "Looks to be conjecture" or similar.
-
So you're just taking the spin at face value. Remind me to never put you in an investigative role.
-
Where do you see that NewsNation is turning a good profit?
-
What was to be gained by blowing up WGNAmerica?
-
Have we known Nexstar to make smart decisions: i.e. NewsNation? No.
-
Let me guess, WGN 720 will be rebranded and called something like WANN for We Are [News Nation] or something equally useless.

Sure. But it's like saying calling NBC Comcast because they own them. -

Hardly anything since Fox News gets away with literally everything. -

Sounds anti-journalism to me. -
Looks like classic Erector Set to me.

That is true. Though, I'd argue it never was.

The difference is that KCNC doesn't have a master control at the station and the assignment desk only works for 1 station. Trying to cover news for 2 stations and hub master control for multiple stations, while Perry takes any profit from KDVR|KWGN, KXRM|KXTU, and KREX|KFQX and shovels it into the DOA NewsNation while you're not able to mean the minimum cost of living would piss anyone off. Per the KDVR article: And ironically, per another article from KDVR - https://kdvr.com/news/local/have-things-become-more-expensive-in-denver/ :

I suspect that the L3s and the flat elements were created by the inhouse team and the tired 3D stuff (which isn't tired because it's 3D, but because it brings nothing new to the table), is probably from something like videohive. No one said that Apollo was going to invest significant resources in a hub. They are a PE Firm, intent on strip-mining as many assets as possible, local stations included.

I disagree with him.

This has more to do with the latter and with the direction that studios are viewing the streaming landscape. -

And it's used at KKTV as well. So, This is the Place is used across the whole state. Also it will soon be the package KDVR has used the longest. Lastly, KCNC and KUSA are the only stations in Colorado not using a Stephen Arnold Music package. -
Wait. Are you saying that the mockups that you find on this forum aren't worthy of cable news!?
