Ernie Anastos has left FOX 5 for Harvard Business School.  Ernie last time on the 6pm was back in March.

I see them keeping it, because ABC desperately want the cache that NBC has with the Today franchise and remember is cheaper for Talk Show or Game Show in that time slot than a soap opera.  I see them once again retooling it to make it a more of a carbon copy of GMA.

Leaving WTNH 8 Jocelyn Maminta signed off NEWS8 after 20 plus years.

Back in the 90s WFSB, WAGA & WITI whomever was the designer had the same idea/concept. The anchor desk and some of the paneling backdrop.

I always wanted to know who did this set back in the 80s for WJXT, WDIV, WSB & WTVF.  The style was very modern for the 80s era and the last picture of WTVF they did change the anchor desk in the 90s.

Darcel Grimes at WLOS announced her retirement. She Retires May 8th.

Want to pick the brains of those that have alot of knowledge about the Chicago market.

WLS/ABC 7 EWN is the leader, but been watching NBC 5 which is the strong #2 in the market.  I find myself liking their newscast, but I feel their anchor team

needs a jolt. Is there any chances NBC will make changes on their evening newscast.  Just seems like their anchor team a little long in the tooth.  The newscast is good, but the anchors are so-so.

Thoughts?

He from Columbus, but can't believe he would leave FOX O&O station for Nexstar.  I guess Mike health not too good.

Meteorologist Nikki-Dee Ray will leave WTVR and take over the morning weather spot over at WTVF, her replacement will be announced on Monday morning.

She stays in the Scripps family.
