Inside Edition hasn't even be on WGCL for a year! It seems a little ludicrous to move something so soon. It is harder to have more news as an CBS affiliate with TPIR, LMAD (depending on where you are in the county for time), Y&R, B&B, AND The Talk. I'm all for canceling the latter thoughÂ
I didnât know that. Well move that to 7:30 and put all three BBT episodes on WPCH.Â

Of course, not sure about WGCL in AtlantaâŚ..
That could easily be accomplished by moving their runs of Inside Edition and Big Bang Theory to WPCHâŚI could definitely see that happening. Well Inside Edition is news so they could keep that.Â

Just saw a promo that the old judge Judy show is moving from WPXI to WPGH 53 in the fall.
They were already losing Kelly Clarkson to WESH, but that was airing at 3amâŚand Sherri simply inherits Wendyâs old slotâŚwonder what they will replace Judge Judy with? Jennifer Hudson?

Pictionary Station List. This canât be complete. Lots of missing markets. It takes both of YBYLâs time slots here on WJZY. 11:30am and 12:30am. So likely either 25 Words or Less or YBYL moves to 1pm or WMYT, with the other airing at 11am, or maybe WJZY creates a 2 hour game show block and Rachael Ray moves to 1pm. Of course this could turn out to be wrong, as I learned with Young Sheldon and Nick Cannon last year.Â

I saw that on the listings for Sherri.Â
InterestingÂ

Sherri station list is out. Some stations list times, others say âComing soon.â In Charlotte she simply inherits Wendyâs old time slots (WSOC at 10am and the previous  dayâs repeat at 6am on WAXN).  I wouldâve liked to seen her move to WJZY at 11am, they need a talk show at that time to pair with Rachael Ray if they are going to keep her at 10am. The game shows could move to 1pm. Then WSOC couldâve moved Tamron to 10am and Dr. Phil to 3 and started a 4pm news. Oh well.
ÂBut she will be at a different time than Wendy in some markets such as Greenville-Spartanburg. Sheri will be at 2 on WHNS. Wendy was at 10. Wonder if they will be expanding their morning news? Also Wendy was at 3 on WACH but Sherri will be at 2, maybe Tamron moves to 3?Â

Article is behind a paywall, but WCCBâs âYour Day With Anna Kooimanâ wonât be starting until January 9 after they first said it would be premiering this fall.Â
Â
For Anna Kooiman, return to Charlotte is âa dream come true.â But is she here to stay?
https://www.charlotteobserver.com/entertainment/tv/article264140976.htmlÂ
It appears WCCB News Rising will be cut by an hour as it says this show will be airing from 8-9am. They canât move 700 Club to 10am? Years ago they aired it at like 2 in the afternoon.

Former WJZY anchor and reporter Lindsay Clein is now a 4 and 5pm anchor at WXII! Good for WXII!Â

The last program other than Days to air at 1pm on NBC was Hollywood Squares on March 2, 1979. I wasnât yet 6 months old. WRET, now WCNC, had just became the NBC affiliate in July 1978. Â http://daytimetvarchive.com/grids/1979.html

So maybe late snow is the 1pm eastern anchor and say west coast itâs Aaron since he anchors from 2p-4p eastern and if a station takes 12pm itâs Morgan and Vicky since they anchor 11a-1p easternÂ
I read where two anchors are doing one feed and the other two are doing the other. So I guess Morgan and Vicky will do the one for the East Coast and the other two will anchor the West Coast.

Itâs the end of an era losing the last signature program of NBCâs daytime schedule. Days has aired at 1pm ET since January 1979 and on the network since 1965. I have watched Days since 2012. Iâll sure have no use for the local NBC station anymore. I barely do for their primetime shows.Â
ÂÂ
The last NBC program to air at 1pm before Days was Hollywood Squares. Days has aired in that time slot since March 5, 1979. I wasnât yet 6 months old. Y&R wasnât yet an hour show. TPIR was airing at 10:30 and wouldnât move to 11am until April 23. http://daytimetvarchive.com/grids/1979.html

Orlando update:
Â
The Kelly Clarkson Show is moving from WFTV to WESH (at 3 PM) starting September 12th, replacing Ellen
WFTV shared it with WRDQ. The latter aired a rerun at 8. They might as well pull a WAXN and put 4 runs of Feud in primetime now. But WFTV might need two of those runs for its schedule.Â

I don't think Hot Bench moving to overnights
I mentioned in that thread that it would likely be the one to be bumped to overnights this year. The other stations probably have their schedules set for this year but next year I could see it moving stations.

That is major because the writing is on the wall for soaps. Networks wants to get out that business and more into the daytime news business. If you are CBS or ABC you are looking if this moves works for NBC because if it doesâŚ. Goodbye Soaps!
CBS Afternoons by the middle of the decade?

I felt as this news deserved its own thread.
Â
NBC announced yesterday (8/3) that original episodes of its longest-running scripted series and lone remaining soap opera will move exclusively to the NBCUniversal-owned streaming service. The sands in the hourglass will run out for the last time on NBC's broadcast affiliates on Sept. 9.
Â
The following Monday (9/12) NBC News will take over the Days of Our Lives hour with NBC News Daily, which will also be streamed over Peacock and NBC News Now.
I was just thinking that. It shouldâve had its own thread yesterday. And with apologies to Salt Lake City where they will have to drop one of their syndies if they clear this, it didnât belong in the syndicated thread.

Iâm sure affiliates are loving the fact they are getting this news (officially) just a month before the new season starts, long after 22-23 syndie deals were locked up. I donât see many large market, non O&O NBC stations sticking with the new, replacement newscast longterm.Â
Well KSL is probably pissed, if they plan on clearing NBC News Daily in the afternoon. I didnât realize they bumped Days to late nights. I guess Hot Bench is the one that goes to late night if they decide to clear this. No sister station to move it to.

They get more local ad time than they did during Days and local news inserts. They might actually be thrilled. If they were giving the time to the affiliates Iâm sure they wouldâve been given more notice.Â

ÂThis article says âNBC News Dailyâ will be live âin most markets. So I guess 1pm ET/noon CT?  I donât see what would be keeping the MT stations from picking it up live at 11am and even the PT stations at 10am. Hoda and Jenna could be pushed back to 11amâŚ.heck itâs delayed anyway out there.

WOAH. Is NBC going to turn the hour over to the affiliates or replace it with something else? EDIT: It is replacing it with âNBC News Daily.â I assume that can pretty much air at any time like Days did. CBS now has no reason to keep Y&R at 12:30. Move it to 1 so that affiliates can air an hour long news at noon. I doubt B&B will ever expand to an hour so The Talk can stay as a half hour show. Actually, wishful thinking on my part about The Talk being cut to 30 minutes. CBS will probably end up moving B&B and Y&R to Paramount Plus.

I don't know what's happening this fall as far as Syndication in concerned here in Denver. But I saw a promo that Live with Kelly & Ryan will move from KDVR to KWGN starting Sept. 6. I believe at 10am if I'm not mistaking. No word on what will be airing in it's place on KDVR which also aired at 10am.Â
Maybe KDVR is expanding their morning news?

Havenât seen any promos for it yet in Charlotte. My best guess is itâs going to WJZY and/or WMYT. Maybe to replace Good Dish on WJZY.

Until KDOC flipped to religious programming, both stations shared the local syndication rights to the Seinfeld reruns, with KCOP airing two episodes in the 10:00 PM spot, with KDOC airing the same episodes in the 11:00 PM slot.
KTLA already had the Goldbergs, even though they are only airing the primary run at 2am during the week. Iâve noticed a lot of stations are only taking the primary run of that for some reason and/or are airing it in a graveyard slot.Â

That makes two departures from WCCB, and they are apparently cutting WCCB News Rising by an hour in January to air Your Day With Anna Kooiman at 8am.
