Speaking of, as of July 4, KDAF added Early Morning and Morning in America to its schedule.
1 hour ago, Nelson R. said:Other than the free preview in October 2020 and a handful of stations beginning to carry Morning in America and Early Morning, they foolishly have completely ignored broadcast.
I would be surprised if WMYT added it at this point, can’t see Nexstar wanting it to compete with Queen City News Now.

t is embarrassing for NewsNation and Nexstar as a whole. The only way it can be saved is if it becomes a broadcast news network. I keep thinking that The CW will become a broadcast feed of NewsNation because of how stupid Nexstar is.

I’m hearing reports that after only one season airing in off-net syndication, Schitt’s Creek is being pulled from the syndication market so that more focus can be put into streaming, where the majority of people are watching it anyway.
2 seasons, it started in September 2020, yeah I read that a while back. WMYT cut back to one run this year (at 10:30pm) to make room for their run of Young Sheldon at 10pm. No telling what they will replace it with. American Housewife really only needs one run on the weekdays since ABC foolishly cancelled it after only 103 episodes. That would be a good fit for that spot.

KPRC in Houston recently posted a help wanted ad for their lifestyle show, “Houston Life,” that said it would expand in 2023. It’s already an hour, so it stands to reason it could soon be 2. 2 hours strikes me as a lot for a station the size of WALA.
6 hours ago, tyrannical bastard said:WALA FOX 10 is expanding Studio 10 to TWO hours and adding a midday newscast this fall. Not sure if the midday news will be on at 11am or noon. Joe Emer announced this morning on Good Day Gulf Coast, and he will be moving to these new shows, bringing Eric Reynolds back to the program with Sarah Wall. Eric currently anchors the 4:30-7am portion.
That's the first time I've seen a lifestyle program expand to 2 hours....has this happened anywhere else?
Maybe WBTV could expand QC Morning to 2 hours and move LMAD back to 3? But would suck if the game show block is split up.

KNBC replacing Ellen with 3pm news and NBC Nightly News live from the East.
I can imagine they might not be the only NBC O&O with a Fox O&O in the market to add a 3pm news since the Fox O&O’s are adding Jennifer Hudson.

PBRTV suggests that the Jeopardy/Wheel switch may be a CBS thing, for uniformity nationwide.
6 hours ago, Kenneth Kissel said:I would agree with that.
Well if that’s the case there are a bunch of stations that need to switch them, such as WCNC. They have probably been airing them in the wrong order for 26 years. I bet they would have aired Jeopardy earlier in the day during the Olympics.

Would love to see more stations pick up Lee and Hayley with all of the other talk shows being canceled or realigned this season
WHNS would be a good fit.

WPXI in Pittsburgh will be swapping Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune starting July 4.
WBTV did this in 1988. Jeopardy moved to 5:30 and Wheel to 5. Only to lose both of them to WSOC two years later so really it ended up being pointless. Jeopardy moved to WCNC in 1991 I believe and Wheel moved to WCNC in 1993. I still think it was a mistake for WBTV to let them get away in 1990, but they were still airing PM Magazine at 7:30 for a few more years, and Wheel might’ve been preempted anyway for The Dom Capers Show (the first Panthers head coach) had they still had the rights to Wheel from 1995 to 1998.

GMA3 actually have an Noon ET/11am CT feed.
Sister station KETV Omaha, and another ABC affil WBRZ Baton Rouge carry the earlier feed.
I didn’t know that. I don’t know if ABC ever did that with All My Children or The Chew. Surprised more CT affiliates don’t take this feed.

Which means KMBC is one of the few Central Time stations to carry it live with the East Coast. I wonder if there will be more changes like this, because I know a few stations that would be better off airing it at 11 (cough*WBAY*cough).
Actually the East Coast time is 1pm ET/noon CT (All My Children’s old time slot) so they may be airing it a day late.

The timeslot currently was being filled with a second helping of "Judge Judy".
Actually it was filled by “The Real”. “Lee and Haley” will air at 1pm. The Real will move to 12:30am replacing one of their runs of Access Hollywood and Right This Minute.
It would be nice to see WJZY replace The Good Dish with this (same company) though only smaller markets seem to be picking it up for some reason.

Idk what Pointless is but I can already tell you KPXJ would try to pair it with Family Feud if it happened. And then you have KCWX that would want it in San Antonio.
WAXN suddenly has the room with the cancellations of The Doctors, Right This Minute and Judge Jerry.

Surprisngly no appearence from Wendy Williams on her final show, not even a recorded message.
Will all thse shows going away I wonder how much longer daytime dramas can hang on for, especially with Y&R and GH celebrating their 50th and 60th anniversaries repsecitively in 2023
6 hours ago, Kenneth Kissel said:To be fair. How many stations are going to become 24 hour news channels at this point? Most syndicated shows have been a snore at this point.
If Y&R and B&B are cancelled and CBS gives the time to the affiliates, WBTV might basically be one.

Right This Minute has been cancelled after an 11 year run.
From @TheRolyPolyon Discord
So this may have been missed, but *Right This Minute* has been officially canceled. No article will come out about this but Nick Calderone, one of the show's hosts, did.
While responding to a viewer as to why reruns are being shown everyday as its getting old...
*Sorry to tell you that RTM has not been renewed for another season. That’s why you can’t see it on the computer. The show will be in reruns until September and then off the air for good. It was a wonderful 11 year run and I’m super proud of our show and so thankful for all our fans. Thanks for watching.* -Nick Calderone, one of RTM's five hosts.
This means WAXN will have a third hour to fill in daytime for sure. They were already losing The Doctors and Judge Jerry. Now RTM. WSOC also loses Daily Mail TV and RTM. I am not even sure the duopoly will have Sheri Shepherd. This would be the perfect year to extend Eyewitness News Morning into the 9am hour and/or finally start that 4pm newscast.

Jennifer Hudson coming to WCCB September 12. That was the first fall promo I had seen on TV so that’s the first show I heard about for Charlotte other than Bahakel’s Your Day With Anna Kooiman which is also obviously going to WCCB.
