  1. 2 seasons, it started in September 2020, yeah I read that a while back. WMYT cut back to one run this year (at 10:30pm) to make room for their run of Young Sheldon at 10pm. No telling what they will replace it with. American Housewife really only needs one run on the weekdays since ABC foolishly cancelled it after only 103 episodes. That would be a good fit for that spot.
  2. Amanda Cox leaving WJZY and getting out of TV.
  3. Maybe WBTV could expand QC Morning to 2 hours and move LMAD back to 3? But would suck if the game show block is split up.
  4. https://www.adweek.com/tvspy/knbc-adding-news-to-replace-ellen-airing-network-newscast-at-330/242334/ KNBC replacing Ellen with 3pm news and NBC Nightly News live from the East. I can imagine they might not be the only NBC O&O with a Fox O&O in the market to add a 3pm news since the Fox O&O’s are adding Jennifer Hudson.
  5. Well if that’s the case there are a bunch of stations that need to switch them, such as WCNC. They have probably been airing them in the wrong order for 26 years. I bet they would have aired Jeopardy earlier in the day during the Olympics.
  6. WBTV did this in 1988. Jeopardy moved to 5:30 and Wheel to 5. Only to lose both of them to WSOC two years later so really it ended up being pointless. Jeopardy moved to WCNC in 1991 I believe and Wheel moved to WCNC in 1993. I still think it was a mistake for WBTV to let them get away in 1990, but they were still airing PM Magazine at 7:30 for a few more years, and Wheel might’ve been preempted anyway for The Dom Capers Show (the first Panthers head coach) had they still had the rights to Wheel from 1995 to 1998.
  7. I didn’t know that. I don’t know if ABC ever did that with All My Children or The Chew. Surprised more CT affiliates don’t take this feed.
  8. Actually the East Coast time is 1pm ET/noon CT (All My Children’s old time slot) so they may be airing it a day late.
  9. GMA3 moves to 11am and the news starts at noon on Monday.
  10. Actually it was filled by “The Real”. “Lee and Haley” will air at 1pm. The Real will move to 12:30am replacing one of their runs of Access Hollywood and Right This Minute. It would be nice to see WJZY replace The Good Dish with this (same company) though only smaller markets seem to be picking it up for some reason.
  11. WAXN suddenly has the room with the cancellations of The Doctors, Right This Minute and Judge Jerry.
  12. Or at 1:30am before their overnight infomercial block
  13. If Y&R and B&B are cancelled and CBS gives the time to the affiliates, WBTV might basically be one.
  14. Bring back WB if it’s Warner or UPN if it’s Paramount.
  15. Right This Minute was currently airing on PCNC.
  16. WMYT aired it in Charlotte but WJZY is airing the afternoon one today.
  17. Right This Minute has been cancelled after an 11 year run. From @TheRolyPolyon Discord So this may have been missed, but *Right This Minute* has been officially canceled. No article will come out about this but Nick Calderone, one of the show's hosts, did. While responding to a viewer as to why reruns are being shown everyday as its getting old... *Sorry to tell you that RTM has not been renewed for another season. That’s why you can’t see it on the computer. The show will be in reruns until September and then off the air for good. It was a wonderful 11 year run and I’m super proud of our show and so thankful for all our fans. Thanks for watching.* -Nick Calderone, one of RTM's five hosts. This means WAXN will have a third hour to fill in daytime for sure. They were already losing The Doctors and Judge Jerry. Now RTM. WSOC also loses Daily Mail TV and RTM. I am not even sure the duopoly will have Sheri Shepherd. This would be the perfect year to extend Eyewitness News Morning into the 9am hour and/or finally start that 4pm newscast.
  18. Both had a good run. Ironically they will be basically replaced by American Housewife and the Neighborhood (maybe not on the same stations) but Katy Mixon was on Mike and Molly and then went to American Housewife (for a lead role) and Beth Behrs was on 2 Broke Girls and then went to The Neighborhood. I think WCCB could end up with both shows because they have both M&M and 2BG.
  19. https://www.wjhl.com/programming-changes-coming-to-wjhl-abc-tri-cities/ Big changes coming July 4 to both WJHL’s ABC and CBS channels. Dr. Phil moves from 10am on WJHL ABC Tri-Cities to 9am and from 4pm to 3pm on WJHL CBS Tri-Cities. The 9am news on WJHL ABC moves to 10am and Let’s Make a Deal moves from 3pm to 10am on WJHL CBS. Daytime Tri-Cities moves from 10am to 9am on WJHL CBS. WJHL CBS starts a full 4pm news that day that replaces Dr. Phil. Daytime Tri-Cities replaces The Good Dish which presumably will no longer air in the Tri-Cities. It’s getting cancelled anyway.
  20. I just happened to think, Mike and Molly might be leaving broadcast syndication. It currently airs on WBNX at 10 and 10:30 but it is not on their fall schedule. It could be moving to another station in Cleveland but more likely it is leaving syndication.
  21. Former WBTV meteorologist Leigh Brock has resurfaced at rival WSOC. UPDATE: She is just filling in. Also I’m way late on this one but Grace Grill has joined the WJZY sports team. Grace Remington has apparently left after less than a year at the station.
