  1. Diana Diaz and Christine Cruz are still holding ship with Alex De Armas anchoring at times. Vivan Gonzalez has the 7 Weather and Stephen J. Gray and Laura Lane team up for 7 FastTrak Traffic.

They also have Omar Lewis and Lorena Estrada (anchors of the weekend morning newscast) reporting in the morning, throughout the week.

Ashley Jones has left WSVN and I had no idea until looking at her FB page just now and apparently, she left in August.

Which means the 4:00, 4:30, 5:30 and 6:30pm slot left by Danielle hasn't still been filled and Jeff Lennox has been filling-in in the meantime. And ever since former 'SVN-er Charles Billi left the station, Lynn has anchored with Reid Lamberty, some anchor after him in which I forgot and Danielle Knox.

It was Mike Marusarz (known as Mike Marza when he was at WSVN) who co-anchored with Lynn Martinez. He now co-anchors the 5 & 10 pm newscasts at KSHB in Kansas City, MO with his wife former WFOR morning anchor Rhiannon Ally. Mike also co-anchors the 6 pm newscast with Christa Dubill. As for Lynn's new co-anchor just give it to Jeff Lenox.

  2. Couple of changes to report:

    WOFL:

    - Sonni Abata leaving

    - LuAnne Sorrell moving to evenings at 5, 10 & 11

    - Bob Frier moves to Good Day Orlando and joins Amy Kaufeldt from 7-10am

    - Charles Billi joins the station as 5,10 & 11 pm co-anchor with LuAnne Sorrell.

    - Danielle Knox joins the station as 4-7am co-anchor of Good Day Orlando with Ryan Elijah.

    WBAL:

Andre Hepkins joins the station as 5:30 and 10 pm co-anchor and will report from the breaking news desk for the 6 & 11 pm newscasts.

  3. Well..in this crazy world of TV..some changes over at WPLG:

First: Christina Vazquez who ran the Consumer Investigative portion of Local 10 left to do PR. Now it is looking like Constance Jones will be leaving the station. Her traffic duties have already been handed over to Nicole Perez and FTVLive mentioned that she will be headed up to FOX 5 in Atlanta in the mornings.

Speaking of WPLG they are adding an hour long 9:00a newscast bumping Live with Kelly to 10:00a.

  4. It seems like Chris Wragge and Mary Calvi both happen to be off today. Alex Denis and Brian Conybeare anchored this morning.

Ah that explains it thanks. Wonder who will fill in for Chris next month when his wife has their baby boy.

  5. Jessica Moore, CBS 2's new weekend evening anchor, debuts today at noon.

That's odd. I hope WCBS isn't following the WNBC method of a split noon/weekend anchor shift.

  6. Kristine is sitting in on The Talk on Monday - and it's not a rerun, so I guess she won't be anchoring Monday afternoon.

Yes all week anchors from the various CBS O&O stations will be guest hosting on the talk.

    Kristine Johnson - WCBS

    Elizabeth Cook - KPIX

    Lisa Hughes - WBZ

    Kaley O'kelly - KTVT

    Ukee Washington - KYW

  7. More likely she'll become an "eyewitness" to news on CBS3 or you can "count on it" that she'll appear on NBC10. They have anchor vacancies whereas 6ABC is "action"-packed with anchors.

My guess is NBC10 as Keith's 5 pm Co-anchor and possibly 11am? Not sure? CBS3 what would she do?

  8. I think WCBS needs to hire male anchors! They've got enough females already. Also, I looked FTVLive's article about this as they reported it a month ago, but their report didn't state what newscast she was anchoring.

Totally agree why not hire 2 male anchors one for weekend mornings with Andrea the other for weekend nights with Cindy.

  9. Let me say this now. WNBC is not doing an 11 a.m. broadcast. The only reason the other stations have one because of their schedule. Many on the west coast and central don't have a noon broadcast. So let stop with this rumor of 11 a.m.

There are stations on the west coast and even in the midwest who have a noon broadcast. KPRC in Houston for example has a noon broadcast. Only reason KNBC moved its noon to 11am was to compete with KABC and KCBS who have 11am broadcasts.

  10. This actually doesn't suprise me... Once he was passed up for the 4pm and he's been around for 3 years already I felt his days were probably numbered...the big question is who will replace him... as nynewslover said a couple up, Wnbc needs a stable anchor or anchors for their midday newscast so this will help... David Ushery will probably take over Mon.-Fri. but who will be on the weekend evenings because they have no one I can think of to take over.

Maybe Marc Santia can anchor weekends he's anchored in the past.
