I always thought Michaela was more at home on LA television than at a network. Good that she's returning to the local airwaves.

They reverted to the 4:3-friendly teaser graphics tonight.

The teaser graphics are no longer 4:3 safe, there's a new open, and they brought back the old Peter Jennings theme!

New station: WBRC. It's a red-gray-white version of the WMC graphics.

WCVB reporter Ted Wayman was stabbed on the job Sunday.

Funny, the first game they had last night used the old graphics.

What a read that was. I hope he battles and beats this disease head on. He's an incredible story in the making.

The regionals are dumping sideline reporters entirely after the current NBA and NHL seasons end.

Alternate take: 4:30-7 is actually a very good time, considering (in normal times) everyone has to get up and ready for work/school. It's one of the most important timeslots for a news operation. At least Muller's back on the morning shift again.

And Nexstar now has a presence in all but two of the top 10 markets. Not the mention the death grip they have in New York State.

Joy Reid is taking over the 7pm timeslot.

If they choose not to replace GMA3 with another news/talk program, ABC would have much better luck moving Strahan Pyramid or Press Your Luck to that daily timeslot.

A better name would be ABC World News Midday.

The View is certainly outrating Price in a lot of markets. NYC is one of them. I'd be curious to know how Price does nationally against The View.

They're not replacing Dick Johnson on the weekends. It's Michelle Relerford solo from now on.
