Wonder who's replacing him. Maybe McGill? Hamernik?

There's a whole YouTube account dedicated to pre-2008 WGN9 and superstation stuff:

I've noticed neither ABC7 nor WGN have run the Luna Carpet closed captioning billboard at the end of newscasts lately.

What’s the guys name? You should submit it to @abc7error on twitter. You should see the number of screw up at the mouse in the #2 market.
Check the name of the lady to his left.
And that account is for KABC only, unfortunately.

I could picture Cheryl on the 5, 6, and 10pm with Larry on the 4 and 7pm (If the 7pm still exists next year).
It does kinda sound like Larry is getting a weekday role after Jerry retires.
Who would do weekend mornings if that were to happen? Schwarz returning?

They put Paul back in front of the video wall for a weather segment today.

Whoa. Sexual harassment is not sexual assault.
Gah! You're right. Fixed.

Chris Matthews was accused of sexual harassment in 1999.

Today is a bittersweet day in Oklahoma as KFOR dedicates studio to longtime anchor Linda Cavanaugh - http://kfor.com/2017/12/15/kfor-dedicates-studio-to-longtime-anchor-linda-cavanaugh/
Linda Cavanaugh is retiring today after 40 years at KFOR, which was known as KTVY when she started.
I put it here in Out an About as I was not sure whether this should be a new thread or. Also, she is leaving with KFOR's ownership, and possibly NBC affailiation, uncertain going into 2018, it's currently a Tribune station.
Out and About is the perfect thread to put it in. We don't need threads for every anchor retirement.
And we don't need to type like this either.

Just thought you should know that Kristi Ikemire is WGN's motion designer. She does a good job at it, too.

Feder hinted on Wednesday that another retirement is coming soon in the Chicago media landscape, and I think I might guess who it will be...or someone else is about to have a bad day.
It's Taft, isn't it? Sigh.

Not bad, but why does it look like the "3" is trying to eat the CBS eye?

Nice shade from Jessica D'Onofrio: "It will be interesting if the President will be tweeting about the outcome of the race this morning."
Last night, he tweeted this:

It's basically a third weekend morning newscast today. Rivera, Pathieu, McGinnis, and Byrne are anchoring the first morning show of 2018 today.
