1. And still one more page: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3GcvkVfJYxQ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kna8s7TKOVE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-DapRuErpUA
2. Here's another page worth: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mmngQFzscW4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XZ_PXxSyGVc https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0kN278nl0G8
3. Here's some more rare Peoria goodies from Daniel Cole: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fZ5TMofqdA0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vmL_Vhci-Vk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=89jRS7w1atA
4. Sorry, I posted that a few days ago, it was my most liked post on here, because clips of KHJ-TV with the arrow-9 logo are hard to find.
5. That was most likely WTZH Channel 24 (now WMDN).
6. The open to KHJ-TV's 9 O'Clock News from April 25, 1984: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bL_IB5Uc9Hc
7. Here's a KSDK update from before they moved into their current studios: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=id=yRgpZqRXVKg;t=5 And a KOMU update from just 2 days later. This sounds like an identifiable theme, or maybe not: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=id=0hZNS9LbNSo;m=6;s=10
8. I personally decided to save this until the 5000th post, because it's a big one! Clips of KXLY-TV newscasts (including promos and intros) with the late Cole Bunzel, from 1977-1978, including the opening to the newscast after his death. Lots of rare stuff here! Happy 5000!
9. For the user who wanted it, some weather forcasts and ids from KCBJ (now KMIZ) from 1982, when they were an NBC affiliate. You'll all be in shock and awe at how extremely low budget they were were back then, it doesn't get cheaper than this! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=id=cQi1bid61F8;m=4;s=54 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=id=ztNYujr0thA;m=6;s=20 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=id=8fFMQO0ggh8;m=6;s=42 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=id=rubOptSQ234;m=7;s=37 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=id=MaD6gHJpsOA;m=7;s=2
10. Most likely it was a temporary setting while a new set was under construction.
11. A WETM special from June 23, 1992, on the 20th anniversary of Hurricane Agnes hitting the Twin Tiers area:
12. And from what I read, Price is Right and soaps were airing on WVEU 69 during the transition, which CBS almost bought before Channel 46 caved in and took on CBS, maybe with the identity crisises that 46 has had, maybe CBS now regrets not hooking up with 69?
13. WPGX's newscast was a 5 minute update just before the typical hour long checker-board styled syndicated shows that most smaller Fox affiliates aired after prime-time. WPMI's First Edition was the only newscast-type program aired on the station (other than the 2 minutes updates during prime-time hours) until they became NBC 15 in 96.
14. A clip from a North Carolina cable channel called NorthLand Cable News: Some clips of the six o'clock newscasts from Atlanta's big 4 stations on October 6, 1997:
15. I don't think WRBL ever used Avant News, it just seems too fancy and expensive for a small market.
16. We've seen his last 10pm newscast, now TCMediaNow has uploaded Dave Moore's last 6pm newscast at WCCO from December 6, 1991:'
17. A corporate presentation for WNDU-AM-FM-TV and the U of ND's Golden Dome Productions unit from 1989:
18. Here's another old YT video that I'm pretty sure nobody has posted on to this thread yet, clips of WABI's Telejournal News from 1981:
19. I found another big one! An 11pm newscast from the then-new WSYX from November 12, 1987 (less than 2 months after the call letter change) Plus a bonus, the behind the scenes doings of a 6pm newscast from June 1988:
20. Here's an unusual sign-off from KTSM-TV back in 1985: A user on ebay from El Paso was selling some lots of blank VHS tapes a few weeks ago, I wonder if this is from one of them?
21. I found a station ID from that period in 3D CGI demo reel, but I can't remember exactly what it was. I should have mentioned that. There are a number of videos with wonky sound and tracking. Still, it's a great channel none the less, am I right?
22. That's a part of The News Image I haven't heard yet. Here's some more whoppers from Daniel Cole: A WMBD promo from the fall of 1996, just after they became CBS 31: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yv3nq_vVUJk A tease from WEEK leads into the start of NBC's coverage of the 1984 DNC: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mOopH_7Ie6k A rare CNN Headline News promo from WBLN: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=id=mZQqVxuQKVk;t=30 The opening of WMBD's weekend news from 1993:
23. In addition to some rare behind the scenes footage, this video has some commercials for WPTZ's 25th anniversary, with some old photos: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=id=DNXXjtiBytk;m=5;s=16
24. The concept of this network sounds like it'll air the stuff Litton does, but almost none of it is from them (except for maybe one mandatory show on the weekend). Think the old days of the Discovery Channel and others.
