  1. KETV in 1982, I sniff some hints of KFVS from the same timeframe here...
  2. Some promos for @Breaking News‘s avatar.
  3. Could 9/7/81 be the day KPIX debuted the “And You” open?
  4. How can you tell the difference between Suzy Nelson and Keri Tombazian? I’ve been having trouble with that!
  5. Some more insight into WMAR’s TVBD package:
  6. I present to you: two new compilations! The first one is the doormat that is now known as “Local 24” in Memphis, and the second is another Colorado/Cordillera fave of mine.
  7. A KMTV clip from 1980 featuring Dick Fletcher very shortly before his Tampa run, along with John McDonald and Chuck Roberts of CNN. They used “TuesdayA”.
  8. More from this channel - WHOA! ‘DEF picked up Counterpoint in early ‘96?! Then that means they used PYCCO afterward, and THEN reverted to Counterpoint AGAIN in ‘98? Shes also got some WYFF work as well (their very first “News 4” era!)
  9. !!! Some OKC stuff from April 1997, including a cleaner look at KOCO’s and KFOR’s opens, as well as some KOKH, which we already had. Some San Francisco news opens that unfortunately are covering up by control room audio:
  10. Time to ring up the NMSA... we’ve got another VO. If we could only find the name of that Iowa TV voiceover guy.... Some SLC news outros... looks like KTVX changed its logo in 1990, not 1991.
  11. Before he hit it big in Denver, Bill Stuart worked at KETV under the name Bill Hamilton.
  12. It appears a guy named “kyndle hewitt” has jumped on the news open bandwagon - they are doing compilations for pretty much all the Raycom/Gray stations.
  13. Did you find any of that mystery KXTV stuff from 1997?
  14. MrSurferPlus STILL stealing Vimeo clips...
  15. That WTSP bump from 1993 is interesting, as it uses Brian James with Great News instead of NS2000+. Odd. Also glad to see from WYFF from 1999 with the JCBD GFX. And the most recent upload:
  16. Eastest566 has returned with some rare WYFF material aside from his other things:
  17. A look at WWLP’s news from 1987.
  18. I present my 1000 Subscriber Special!
  19. Oops, I clicked right on the recent post in the “Classic Video” correct when I opened up TVNT, without looking at what thread it was posted in. Will move this to the correct thread.
  20. https://youtu.be/tpHFYigUfK8 WXIA in 1987 - I believe this was their first open using Great News.
  21. Ever wanted to hear Doug Paul do am impression of Arnold Schwarzenegger?
  22. A WGEM Open appears in this video
  23. And from the same market as KKTV, we have a KOAA open from 1993, still using NBC: The Place To Be long past its retirement: Id also point out this was back when Cordillera was one of those companies that did things on the cheap.
  24. A WNYT commercial block from 1992 - incorporating their then 5-month old News Channel 13 name in all the bumpers like they do now.
  25. Straight from Mike Piggott’s channel, it’s “Lafayette Live” TV-18 News from 1996:
