Follow-up since the KSIX transaction closed a couple of months back.
A callsign changed occured in the Big Island on November 13th.
- The station that was KFVE (the former KHBC-TV) is now KSIX-TV.
- And the station that was KSIX-TV (the station Gray just bought) is now KFVE.
No word if the "K5" stream (KHNL-DT2) is airing on the new KFVE.
As per RabbitEars, the new KFVE is airing on Ohau on KKAI-DT2 50.2.

ATSC 3.0 is Live in Oklahoma City
The five stations broadcasting NextGen TV in Oklahoma City include Hearst’s KOCO-TV (ABC), Nexstar Media Group’s KFOR-TV (NBC) and KAUT-TV (IND); and Sinclair’s KOKH-TV (Fox) and KOCB-TV (CW).
In OKC, ATSC 3.0 is transmitting on Nexstar's KAUT license, RF19, with KFOR, KOCO, KOKH, KOCB, and KAUT.
As for KAUT's ATSC 1.0 transmissions:
43.1 is on KFOR's RF27 spectrum
43.2 & 43.3 are on KOKH's RF24 spectrum
43.4 is on KOCB's RF33 spectrum

All of the V + U markets have the V as a sub of the U, too.
From there, the most concerning station has to be WLBZ, one of just two low-Vs and the only one without a co-owned U.
WLBZ would most likely have to petition to move to UHF, they were on RF25 during the transition.

YOU TUBE TV, Dish,Sling, Fubo TV have all droped Fox Sports Regionals.
I believe that the only major MVPD who's managed to keep the Sinclair RSNs has been AT&T as they recently renewed with all Sinclair that included the local stations, the RSNs, Tennis Channel, and added Marquee at launch. AT&T also managed to somehow resolve an earlier dispute with Altitude and added SNLA.

Two new sale transactions to note:
* Scripps is buying KCDO-TV/Sterling, CO and its Denver translator KSBS-CD for $9.5 million. The deal would form a full-power duopoly with KMGH, and force the sale of KPXC under the concurring Ion deal.
* Tegna is buying KMPX-TV/Decatur, TX from Estrella Media for $19 million. A very odd caveat included in the agreement is that Estrella was given an option to purchase WFAA, which would become KMPX's duopoly partner, an option I doubt would be exercised and doesn't make much sense to include.
From what I've observed, the primary reason that Tegna is buying KMPX is to get WFAA 8.1 onto a UHF stick as there have apparently been complaints of reception issues with WFAA's current VHF signal.

It's only a matter of time before Hulu drops the Fox RSNs too.
And who knows how many more who will drop them too.
Sinclair better figure something out, and fast, whether that's to come down on their price, or allow the RSNs to be premium channels.

A move spurred in part by WFAA's recent reception woes, no doubt. Their signal has been more elusive than usual since they completed their facility changes this summer. Reducing ERP on VHF wasn't a good idea.
This strikes me as a really roundabout way of doing what should've been a simple facility swap. If the plan is for Estrella to acquire WFAA's VHF facility, surely this could've been done in a more straightforward fashion? For Estrella, easily parting with an O&O in DMA #5 and potentially ending up on a weaker signal doesn't send a good message about their future. Either way, Tegna can maneuver this into more cap space...
It appears that WFAA can move 8.1 to the KMPX stick as soon as this deal closes.

Would it just be more practical for Gray to purchase the non-license assets, NBC & CW, and move them to subchannels accordingly?

Gray has filed the paperwork to acquire KUBD Ketchikan for $1.
How come they're not getting KTNL Sitka & the LP, KXLJ in Juneau? Are they planning on getting it later, or is GCI planning on selling KTNL/KXLJ it to someone else?
.......OR since Gray already acquired LPs KATH/KSCT, they may not really need KTNL/KXLJ? And if that's the case, are they're airing CBS programming on the subs of KATH & KSCT?
Some unanswered questions.
Upon review, Gray apparently has two CPs in Juneau for stations on channels 15 & 26, maybe Gray will light these up for CBS in Southeast Alaska.

If what was said above comes to be true, it would almost be like replacing the prior MG look with the KOIN graphics. Besides WCBD and WSAV, who else in Nexstar (legacy stations) uses the NBC package?
I know that KFDX, KAMR, KTAL, KNWA, KSNF, KARK, and KSNW are just some here in the southern plains that I know use the Nexstar NBC package. This is why I see KFOR eventually getting the NBC package whenever Nexstar gets around to imposing their look in OKC.

Yikes, talk about halfway...
I agree with dma37dude (YT), this is terrible. At this point, they should've gone completely in with "Glass V.2" instead of using parts of 2 different packages.
Coming soon to KOKH?

Admittedly based on the sound of that, they were literally stuck. Of the companies in buying moods, the only ones really interested in small markets are Gray and Nexstar. The latter probably was too concerned about the cap, while the former has lots of cap space but was already in the market. As a result, they had no real options.
I believe that Nexstar is in a holding pattern at this time until the WPIX issue is resolved as Nexstar would have to sell should the Mission deal fall though.

So both Wyoming and Alaska are becoming a market with Gray TV v. NewsNet, with NewsNet that unlikely to win. What a shame.
Gray will now be the primary voice of reason in each of the five smallest states, by population, South Dakota, North Dakota, Alaska, Vermont, and Wyoming.

Would it make sense for KTVA to take on the former KYES schedule, including MNT, until its final fate is decided.

I thought they already had a name. Weird people run that company
Sinclair had four months to rebrand the RSNs as MLB is now underway and NBA & NHL comeback next weekend. I wonder whether a rebrand is in the works or if the pandemic delayed any action on Sinclair's part. Also, Sinclair could've used the time to negotiate new deals with MPVDs who've dropped them in recent years.
