NewsNation GR which I don't see happening Wood TV has too much history around that name and the News8 as well I miss 24 Hour News8 brand from the LIN/Media General Days I don't get why Nexstar got rid of the 24 Hour News8.

Media Matters doesn't matter to them since they don't go after CNN or MSNBC they are left wing and very bias and I don't believe them and what they say about the news side of Fox News anchors Bill Hemmer & John Roberts they don't inject right wing opinion in the newscast. All cable news has pretend news other than breaking news or a major event like what happened in Ohio train and toxic being released in the air and water. I don't watch primetime opinion shows only one I watched was The O'Reilly Factor his last few years I'd only watch Bill's Talking Point Memos & viewer email as it was same old same old to me, I'd watch Hannity & Colmes from time to time Colmes did keep Sean in check once Sean went solo he had no check Alan was his yin to his yang in my opinion.

With Nexstar cutting to end of Accused it happened in the fall of 2017 Lions VS Steelers on SNF a close game the Lions needed a stop to get the ball back. And Wood TV puts in an ad once it returned the Steelers got the 1ST Down to end the game Wood TV apologized for the error which came from WXIN in INDY where it is hubbed at, I saw it on Twitter about there apology.

WXSP .2 dropped COZI TV last week and added Stadium afternoons is just Live On Line & College Hoops Live every other hour with some repeats of sports and MMA in primetime.

Spectrum added Fox Weather first of the year on channel 689 in Kazoo. Fox Weather is on par and even better than The Weather Channel in my opinion, the website should have more info with cities across America than just hour by hour in front of the homepage. I guess they want you to download the Fox Weather APP for more of the info Weather .com & ACCUWeather websites much better for the info, sees that Fox Weather's website is more articles on weather than anything else. I wish that Fox Weather would add the local cities now that they are on a few Pay TV companies like in Michigan GR, BC, Kazoo etc. Great job on the updates Spring Rubber.

I only see NewsNation on The CW for a special murder mystery or something like that kinda what Fox does with TMZ with a few specials a year in primetime.

I can find almost anything on TV I have the TV on 24/7 I have to sleep with the TV on got that from my grandparents on my mom's side even when local TV stations signed off in the 50's, 60's, 70's. They had it on CNN mostly if I spent the night at there house. Before I slept with the TV on all night long I had the lights on and the radio I don't like pitch dark and sight either, I have to have sound all the time I'm weird LOL sorry if I went a bit off topic.

I remember when PAX first came on it had to share at first was QVC then shared with TV Guide Channel was from 6PM to 1AM WZPX did air UPN from 11PM to 1AM 98-99 season when LIN launched UPN on low-power WXSP. Suckyvision oh I mean Cablevision didn't put it in the lineup WXSP. When WZPX got The WB was when they got there own channel in fall 99 The WB was on WGN before they went with superstation branding in fall 99 with no WB primetime, the only thing that was ever in pattern was Kids WB as WB primetime was on a 22-hour delay Monday shows aired on a Tue until The WB ended in fall of 06. I called Pax paid programming network and the I Network as I Suck Network WZPX was one of highest rated PAX stations across the country largely because of The WB. I was surprised that ION did air NFL Game Of The Week in fall of 07 that only lasted for one season was also surprised they aired UFC & WWE in 2011 & 2012 as not surprised both failed they couldn't keep the fans after the shows were over. I'm not surprised that Scripps will try to put sports on ION it will be more local sports in my opinion, I was surprised that Scripps didn't buy WZPX since it isn't a top 4 TV station in West Michigan when they own Fox17.

Never seen a TV station group tell them to demand a rebate when TV stations go dark with insert Pay-TV provider like Nexstar did with Comcast before they got a new deal.

I'm not surprised that NBC will program 10PM On Chi, L&O do well in the 3 hour block. West Michigan has 3 10PM newscast 2 are just half hour newscast Fox17 goes from 10PM to 11:30PM. I remember when CW7 launched a 10PM newscast their slogan was news in half the time a dig at Fox17 they got rid of the slogan years ago. I agree too much local news West Michigan doesn't have much news in a day to fill why I think 4PM news in this market isn't good in my opinion.

I was surprised no date was given when the local Nexstar TV stations go dark on Comcast guessing Jan 1 12AM in my opinion. I think Nexstar has other deals with pay-TV that ends at on Dec Charter Spectrum & Mediacom I could be wrong on that will not know unless there is a scroll on the TV. Nexstar filed a lawsuit against Comcast also Charter Spectrum in 2021 over WPIX both want the FCC to make WPIX own to Nexstar. That could be dropped when a new deal becomes final. I think that Nexstar & Comcast dispute could be a long one in my opinion. The end of 2019 was when Comcast & Nexstar signed the 3 year deal. Forgot to say WPIX in the post last night. I didn't know that Nexstar also sued Spectrum I thought that was only Comcast found out on B&C article on Comcast & Nexstar stations going dark.

I thought that Fox and DirecTV would get a deal done at the 11TH hour.

TBD is on WWMT .3 which use to be Comet before moving to WXSP .3 kinda surprised that Sinclair did that let a rival air there diginets.

I thought that Chris Cuomo & Bill O'Reilly didn't like each other kinda odd that O'Reilly goes on his show. NN dead last on election night and couldn't crack a million viewers.

Wood TV hosted the governors debate I didn't watch it I had no interest in it will be one more debate next week Oct 25 WXMI Fox17 will air the second debate from Oakland U in Detroit since their sister station WXYZ will be airing it. The first debate wasn't aired in Detroit other than WDIV 4+ app not on the main channels in Detroit. I think the stations think too highly of themselves should've been aired on one of the main channels not just an app or a website in my opinion. Nexstar's sister station aired the debate in Lansing was aired on 9&10 in Northern Michigan.

Gray needs to find another ND for KCTV that place can't keep an ND they are out the door less than a year on the job Gray can't get that Meredith stink out at the station.

I wasn't going to watch Chris's show I didn't watch him on CNN when he had his bro on nightly being on his jock strap with softball questions. His promos suck for his show should've kept news of the day at 8PM or hired Megyn Kelly she would've gotten better ratings than Chris.

Yeah, I think do Fri & Sat nights during the winter, spring & summer for Sat nights. I'd only do 2 nights and not go for 7 as One Chi does quite well for NBC on Wed nights.

Dish is the worse when it comes with getting deals done I wouldn't ever go with them for that reason as I don't think they try to get deals done in my opinion. Disney doesn't need Dish as Dish needs Disney more why it didn't last that long as I thought they would get a deal done. Dish doesn't like sports fans either.

It's an outdated rule Sinclair & Nexstar should take The FCC to court and not pay the fine either I wouldn't if I owned either Sinclair or Nexstar. And if I was on The FCC I'd have voted for no fine Jessica abused her power as she knows this clearly is an outdated rule that needs to go like the DINO. And I blame this rule why there is no Sat morning cartoons on FOX, ABC, NBC, CBS, The CW anymore I know even if the outdated rule does go bye, bye, bye broadcast isn't going to air Sat morning cartoons. Which Sat morning cartoons would be better than the nature/E/I crap that no one watches.

I remember Jamie Boll when he was an anchor at WWMT he did mornings & when channel 3 in Kazoo launched Noon newscast in 92 and became the main anchor 5PM, 6PM & 11PM newscast in the late 90's before leaving for Charlotte NC.

If NBC does give 10PM back to the local TV stations that CBS & ABC follow suit in my opinion. WOTV did have news in Battle Creek LIN shut that down in the summer of 03 which just simulcast Wood TV the final hour of Day Break at 6AM to 7AM, 6PM & 11PM M-F on weekends they air Access Hollywood Sat at 11PM & Extra Sun 11PM. Only newscast that isn't simulcast is 9AM Sat mornings on WOTV from 9AM to 10AM.

News Nation going with opinion shows from 8PM to 11PM I see. I wonder if the last news anchor will leave NN now that there isn't going to air primetime news anymore M-F when it launched 2 years ago come Sep.

They could've gone news and stopped the programming with the shooting in their own backyard even if it was just WGN in my opinion.

So happy that Live PD is back I was surprised that NN didn't want to air Live PD on Fri or Sat nights as well when Dan signed on with NN back in the fall.
