  1. Jackie is joining Sinclair after being with CoxMedia.
  2. Maureen Wurtz from KTUL and Jackie DelPelar from KOKI have left their stations here in Tulsa Oklahoma. Jackie is heading to Nashville joining FOX17 as for Maureen she hasn't announced just yet where she will go. Maureen said in her post on Facebook that she made the decision on New Years that 2020 would be her last year in Oklahoma.
  3. I noticed that KXII finally updated the weather graphics to Gray's new style to match the newscasts graphics after using the previous graphics since 2015.
  4. I agree worst mistake on KJRH's end but that's always how they have been as you can tell by how they kicked out Jeff Lazalier, Dan Threlkeld, and Brett Anthony.
  5. Well apparently KJRH has let go of weekday morning anchor Travis Guillory and weekend morning meteorologist Carrigan Chovain.
  6. 40/29 news anchor Craig Cannon just announced his retirement from NW Arkansas news
  7. Meteorologist T.J. Springer is leaving KSNW-TV in Wichita to take over Elisa Raffa's spot at KOLR 10 November 2nd will be his last day at KSN.
  8. I haven't seen this posted but KOLR 10/ Ozarks Fox meteorologist Elisa Raffa has left to join Nexstar station Fox46 in Charlotte.

  11. KOTV is currently closed for deep cleaning of the station after one of there workers tested positive for the virus KWTV stepped in to broadcast statewide tonight. They said the guy is doing well and that he had no contact with anyone in the news and hasn't been at the station for two weeks.

  14. Meteorologist Mike Grogan that left KOTV a couple of months ago has announced that he is remaining in Tulsa and joining KOKI-TV and the FOX23 Severe Weather Team starts next week.
  15. KWTV's is actually known as SkyNews 9HD or as Bob Mills SkyNews 9HD and KOTV's is known as Osage SkyNews 6HD. And KFOR's is known as Air Comfort Solutions Chopper 4.
  16. Stephanie Burgmann signed off from KSN 3 in Wichita today after 30 years she didn't say if she was retiring or going somewhere else.
  17. And I believe KWCH had it a longer because they were the first station I remember broadcasting a newscast for FOX Kansas.
  18. So Jay Prater chief Meteorologist at KAKE tv in Wichita posted this on his Facebook starting tonight at 9pm KAKE will now produce FOX Kansas News at 9 Sinclair owned station newscasts. Added some photos that Jay took on set and that Dave Grant (a Kake reporter) took they are using the old gray television graphics package instead of using Sinclair's graphics like KSN used when they produced the newscast.
  19. Plus KAMR in Amarillo is also hiring for a Meteorologist since Britany Trumpy left for Myrtle Beach. And I believe KXXV in Waco is also.
  20. Mike Grogan has left KOTV after 9 years Christmas night was his last broadcast hasn't announced yet where he will be heading next.
  21. Kalee Dionne made her on air debut this morning on WFAA filling in for Greg Fields. She will be Monday-Friday 11am and 4pm
  22. Haven't seen it posted so here it is KAMR'S Meteorologist Britney Trumpy is leaving for Myrtle Beach station WBTW-TV after 2 years in Amarillo she accepted this job to be closer to her family.
  23. I saw the weather graphics on facebook and YouTube looks good.
  24. Yes both KWTV and KOTV have their own helicopters and they will share the copters when either one is down for maintenance and during severe weather coverage.
  25. That I'm aware of they did use Ranger 8 helicopter for a few severe weather coverage towards the end of the usage of the helicopter.
