  1. To be honest I like it better than the CBS and FOX graphics they had.
  2. WTVA has confirmed from Allen Media that the decision has been reversed and they are staying. https://www.wtva.com/news/local/wtva-parent-company-reverses-decision-severe-weather-authority-to-remain/article_62b9d4da-d9b4-11ef-9386-a7fc886aea62.html
  3. So anonymous employees with Allen have said that meteorologists at stations WTVA, KITV, WSIL, WAAY, WQOW and a few others are all “safe for now”. Now they need to switch the decisions on the rest of the stations. https://www.change.org/p/preserve-our-local-meteorological-teams-at-allen-media-group-stations-amg-and-wtva/u/33187039?cs_tk=A3WmPu0A9zRKK5SUm2cAAXicyyvNyQEABF8BvDdjNDczNGU0NzhjMjI4NTc3ZTM0MzhmYTYwODA2ZjE1ZGI5YjdkODAwZjgwMzhlZjcxOWFjYzkzMmI0YmEzNTc%3D&utm_campaign=d164f3686f17432daa44e4eafc27baf1&utm_content=initial_v0_9_0&utm_medium=email&utm_source=petition_update&utm_term=cs
  4. Please let it be true and they reverse it for all stations.
  5. Never know especially if the FCC gets a lot of complaints from viewers especially WTVA.
  6. Yes but still has it called Fox 55 News.
  7. Yes they are breaking a contract with the FCC that is a legally binding contract. They can get fined by the FCC and local residents can file complaints to the FCC for them not breaking into programming. As for lawsuits I’m not 100% sure on that end.
  8. I’m hoping Hearst, Nexstar (who should have originally bought KOKI instead of Cox), Tegna, or Gray decides to buy KOKI.
  9. I’ve heard on the story that the new building will have multiple studios to work out of. A set in the newsroom plus a new bigger space for the new studio and set with multiple different spots in the studio to read news stories at.
  10. They are back in the studio.
  11. Wanted to bring this up not 100% sure if this was apart of the layoffs Scripps did or not but KSHB axed Chief Meteorologist Mike Nicco.
  12. Update Cassie has now updated and made the announcement official. Not sure if this was actually announced because I haven’t seen anything from KWTV’s Cassie Heiter but she is apparently leaving the Griffin Media station and heading down I-35 to Dallas and joining WFAA. https://www.ftvlive.com/sqsp-test/2024/12/1/headed-down-i-35
  13. KTVO will take over KHQA’s news.
  14. KJRH anchor Karen Larsen announced her retirement from tv news end of January to early February of 2025 after nearly 30 years at KJRH and a few years at KOTV before KJRH.
  15. They are doing the morning, noon shows Monday through Friday and all the weekend shows.
  16. Sunny Leigh former anchor that was laid off from KTUL when Sinclair made the production switch will be making her on air debut for KOKI-TV FOX23 right after post game of the World Series.
  17. KOTV’s Severe Weather intro graphics they kept the three beeps that has been used for years. IMG_5191.mov
  18. Add WOIO and KFVS to the GrayONE list.
  19. It’s way better than the previous set.
  20. Full set pictures courtesy of KWTV and Griffin Media
  21. KWTV’s.
  22. Part of the set.
  23. I edited them I have more but for some reason it won’t let me upload them it shows up as a black screen.
  24. Both KWTV and KOTV debuted new graphics and music tonight as KWTV debuts a new set.
  25. New set will debut tonight.
