Who said he did?  Anchors are humans.  They are allowed vacations.  They allowed sick days.  And they are allowed to keep their private lives private.  Throughout this time News4 was showing promos with David for the 11 pm show.

Looks like real life to me.

Some people overreact too much on these things. It's the middle of August. It makes sense that a senior anchor takes some time off. Not everybody is watching the news in the summer (COVID or no COVID) so stations will grant them break. People want to go outside. David will be back full time in the fall, I guarantee it...

Yes, WSAZ. I'm seeing elements of both packages is what's weird.

Out of the ex-Raycom stations, that will leave...

WTVM, WVUE, KAIT, KCBD, KSWO, KAUZ, KGMB/KHNL left to switch

    Almost there 😎

WFXG is also another holdout to switch graphics but they are owned by Lockwood tho so they'll have to wait a while there

I had said earlier that this was about to happen but didn't want to post about it until I saw the promo.

Alex Anderson will anchor, Joe Haynes will be on weather and Julie Parr will handle the Texarkana reports along with additional reports chiefly from Brandy Campbell.  Anderson also anchors at 4pm and does sports at 6, 9 and 10.

What station is this? I'm confused...

Alpena may the one of the last markets in the country that's outright missing a network over the air. WBKB's main channel is CBS, and their subchannels are ABC and a FOX/MNTV combo in widescreen SD, but no NBC. The only other over the air station is a satellite of WCMU in Mt Pleasant.

WPBN fills in that slot on cable BTW...

It looks like WHDT has made the switch to FL24. Last week they kept on putting ads about Court TV moving but didn't announce a replacement. I guess this was a surprise?

CourtTV is on 9.2. Always has been really.

Nice to see that I have a free news channel in Miami (I can easily get WHDT now 😀

Same one from KNDO, yep. They could have used the same music and opening montage without resorting to a cassette or cart recording that sounded like it had been taped over 100 times!!

I'll get that KIMA one up eventually, I promise. And KEPR used the same package, of course. 'KIMA KEPR Action News'

KNDO has had bad opens for decades it seems. Their open now is God awful too 😂🤣🤦‍♂️
