WRNN 7 PM newscast from October 13, 1998 (partial):
WNBC NewsChannel 4 at 11 from October 24, 1996. Right before Michelle Marsh joined the station, and thus would've probably filled in for Sue here:

Somara Theodore, who did weather for WRC-TV and Saturday Today, is joining ABC News as a New York-based meteorologist:

The Tour De France will be a Peacock exclusive starting next year (with some portions simulcast on NBC):

I see that there is a number of existing sitcoms that will remain on the schedule. I kinda thought that said existing sitcoms were being wasted on this, a lesser-known subchannel, especially after the CBS O&Os dumped it in favor of Start TV.
Don't like the new name, though.

So it turns out that Steve announced he's going to WJZ in Baltimore, working weekends:

Comcast, unsurprisingly, hasn't been all that interested in creating a directed streamer. Peacock is FAST, but it lacks the investment that Paramount+ and Disney+ has had.
Comcast just stopped offering FAST Peacock to new subscribers. But according to this, Xumo might end up being Comcast's answer to Pluto/Tubi:

I looked at Xumo for the first time in ages recently and they're the only one of these I've seen with the ABC O&O's as channels.

Hulu has turned into a bit of albatross for Disney. Trying to program it and Disney+ is just too expensive. Plus, not selling/licensing films, shows, etc.. to others and keeping everything in house isn’t generating $$$.
Can’t see anyone jumping at the chance to buy Hulu that already owns their own streaming service. There's a nice article here from a few months ago about Hulu and the dilemma it faces within Disney:
A big problem is that next January Comcast can force Disney to buy out their stake in Hulu, and that's gonna be well in the billions. -

He is probably coming to NBC 4 as they are still looking for a weekend am meteorologist since Lauryn Ricketts left last year.
From this ig post it looks like Somara Theodore is leaving, so that opens up weekend nights (and DC-based Saturday Today):

No other place to put this but The Late Late Show franchise will end after James Corden's departure. CBS will replace it with a reboot of Comedy Central's @Midnight. Sad. Corden had the best late night show as he was great at celebrity
games and gimmiks like Carpool Careoke. It would be great of Craig Ferguson was willing to return.
Craig already signed up for a syndicated show that's aiming to debut this fall:

KCAL could run the CBS Evening News live. KCAL no longer has any sports obligations (other than maybe some preseason NFL football) so making them the news brand makes sense.
Yeah. They should also consider bringing back the 2-3:30 news block that they used to have. Or at least reenter 3pm.

That's what, the third high-profile retirement on that station in less than 6 months.
Erika Gonzalez last month said that she was permanently moving to the 11am newscast, so I should've figured that time was getting slim for Pat.
