@Net - I couldn't agree with you more. Gil is a terrific man, and a fantastic journalist and storyteller. He was a pioneering force for minorities in television news, and one of the nicest guys I've ever had the pleasure to meet and work with.

They are re-airing the "Like it Is" tribute this weekend.. Because Councilmen Charles Barron complained because one of his comments were left out and called it a "racial matter". It's very unfourtanate that a great man like Mr.Nobel is so sick and all this piece of crap is worrying about his comments being cut out. He really needs to get his priorities straight and worry about what is really important here.
