I hope they can stay in NY. They really are great talents. I see improvements that can be made on WNBC, WPIX and WNYW where they could use such talents.

The 5 anchors/reporters who were laid off from NY1 last month now claim Charter Communications is refusing to nominate their work for the Emmy Awards and has filed a complaint with the New York City Commission on Human Rights.

Two good news for NY1, chief meteorologist John Davitt is celebrating 30 years forecasting at the station. 

Plus, afternoon anchor Ruschell Boone is returning to the anchor chair tomorrow after spending the last 9 months on medical leave for pancreatic cancer.
