mre29 1575 Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 Well, KSAT has a new one, and it's a nice one, too.
ns8401 965 Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 Well, KSAT has a new one, and it's a nice one, too. Is it just me or do all responsive design sites look similar?
Samantha 2905 Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 Is it just me or do all responsive design sites look similar? I think that's just a design trend thing, to be honest.
sanewsguy 514 Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 Well, KSAT has a new one, and it's a nice one, too. Nice to see you just got the memo. Really old news.
Mrtraveler01 739 Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 Nice to see you just got the memo. Really old news. And KSAT is still the only one with this new layout. Wonder when the other Graham stations and WPLG will switch to it?
sanewsguy 514 Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 Here's something that seems to be going groupwide though. KSAT launched this a couple months ago and now KPRC has it. http://www.click2houston.com/weather/26058784 Also: WDIV, KSAT, WJXT, WKMG and the StormPins site. WPLG doesn't have it so there's one of the first signs they're no longer under Graham control.

LTSC1980 114 Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 Also really old news. The group rolled out new openings this year which no longer mentions the site... They still did.....in WDIV.
ns8401 965 Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 They still did.....in WDIV. That open was replaced with "LIVE From Downtown Detroit" after WXYZ announced their Downtown studio.
Samantha 2905 Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 In other news about Graham, the company just announced that it will spin off Cable One into a separate, publicly traded company. The transaction will be completed in 2015.

Samantha 2905 Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 I really would not be surprised to see the television stations unit spun off at this point or sold. Graham Holdings now consists of: Kaplan, by far its largest and most important unit The television stations Slate An advertising agency for social media A home healthcare company operating in Pennsylvania Some energy company it acquired last year
