Looks like the Graham stations are getting new websites

Here's something that seems to be going groupwide though. KSAT launched this a couple months ago and now KPRC has it.

Also: WDIV, KSAT, WJXT, WKMG and the StormPins site. WPLG doesn't have it so there's one of the first signs they're no longer under Graham control.

Please tell me they will all get a new opening and and stop plugging their clickon website which drives me nuts!!

Also really old news. The group rolled out new openings this year which no longer mentions the site...

In other news about Graham, the company just announced that it will spin off Cable One into a separate, publicly traded company. The transaction will be completed in 2015.

...and I see our ol' buddy from the Plains making another one of his "brillant" comments.

I really would not be surprised to see the television stations unit spun off at this point or sold.

Graham Holdings now consists of:

  • Kaplan, by far its largest and most important unit
  • The television stations
  • Slate
  • An advertising agency for social media
  • A home healthcare company operating in Pennsylvania
  • Some energy company it acquired last year
