MichiganNewsGraphicsJunkie 949 Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 I'm sure this has happened very recently.... KLFY has debuted the new Nexstar graphics, as well as a much improved station logo... Is this the first MG station post-merger that has gotten a Nexstar graphics package?? Still has the MG website address/layout...
Samantha 2902 Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 They kind of sucked the soul out of it...
WestleyWolf 122 Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 Looks Standardized to fit the new graphics.
CircleSeven 1960 Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 Also, no more loose production music. They switched to Arnold's Canvas.
susquvalleywgal 521 Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 Talk about a bastardized version of the WROC gfx. That time/temp bug placement. Woof. But wait, when TMZ27 makes a mockery of these gfx, this will make TMZ27’s attempt look like DMA market 1worthy! — Matt
AJClementeFan69 477 Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 Kind of sad to see the "hurricane" logo go :/
TheMassMediaGeek 98 Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 Looks like it is the first former MG station to get the new gfx
newsn8te 202 Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 Cringeworthy. I'm curious as to why they feel the need to rush the intro and then just awkwardly stop the music.
Greggo 358 Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 KLFY is hiring for a new news director ... kinda weird that they'd rush and wouldn't wait to let the new hire weigh in on graphics, music, etc. Sad to see how they butchered a package WROC executed so beautifully. The time/temp in particular is hideous tho I suspect there's prolly a technical reason (not the right tools) why it looks that way.
