KOSA debuted their new graphics and set, as well as U-Phonix.

Set appears to be a knock-off of the Tegna design seen at stations like KVUE, WHAS, etc.

  1. KOSA adopted the WCJB graphics (meaning that WCJB is now fully Gray in terms of its look).
  2. Did KOSA get a TEGNA-inspired logo for its Weather Center?

KOSA, WCJB, WJHG, WVLT, and KALB all have this new graphics package. I'm wondering which other Gray stations will eventually switch to it.

Why are they still in a mall?

To be fair, we're nearly at the point where TV stations will be the only things left in malls.

KCRA Used to be in a mall from 2004-2008. (Noon only)

The KCRA 3 Experience! at Arden Fair Mall. Lmao.

I remember that name because of the open and when KCRA went HD, the noon newscast was the last holdout because it has SD cameras inside its set.

Then there's the Gray package WITN and WDBJ are using... anyone else using that one?

The lack of movement for many of those graphics is startling. No movement in the OTS and the full screen almost looks like a totally static slate. Those big curved elements need to be moving.

Univision across the street from the mall is so tiny. One van and a unmarked black Jeep with a dish on the roof modified looking like it can drive in water.

KBTV was in a mall too.
