Here's a small TV note: Lilly/SJL's WICU and WSEE in Erie, PA since having produced a joint newscast have also began ID'ing on-air both as simply "WICU" and "WSEE" with no channel number, at least like at the end of syndicated promos and common stuff.

So are they consolidating two newscasts into one or what exactly are they doing?

Thank God! That 11 pm experiment was awful. In a market like Atlanta, a traditional newscast works best especially in the evening.

Hasn’t WSEE always branded by their call letters though? A god awful CBS eye logo with italicized SEE over the eye comes to mind.

The logos for both stations are now the generic NBC and CBS logos with the plain call letters next to it. Even more bland and worse than it was before.

For anyone wondering what their logos look like (didn't even take me a half-hour to make them, just to make a point)...

It was reported on TVNT and another news website that KSLA got rid of their Sunday morning newscasts. That's not true because I watched recently and they had it on. Just making sure y'all know.

So if KSLA is done with weekend mornings, that leaves KTBS as our only option of weekend AM news

KSNV sports anchor Randy Howe was arrested in North Las Vegas Tuesday on charges of indecent exposure and "open gross" lewdness. Howe was booked at the Las Vegas Detention Center, and was subsequently released on bail. KSNV representatives have so far declined comment on the matter.

So who is more prone to public lewdness?

The sports goons...or the weather geeks?

You would think some member here has this statistic handy.

Big news out of Michiana tonight.

Longtime WNDU anchor Maureen McFadden announced that she'll be retiring from the station early next year after nearly four decades.

Don't think we'll ever see another "sibling" anchor pair ever again.

Looks like he was playing with more than just the "one armed bandit"...Cops say he "whipped it out"...

One employee told two responding officers they'd seen Howe walking to the restroom with his penis exposed, police said. Other employees reportedly told police it wasn’t the first time they’d seen Howe masturbate at the bar, according to the report.

"Ewwwwww!"

(emphasis mine)

No more 9pm newscast on KLAS-TV Las Vegas. Their 8.2 subchannel reverted back to the MeTV lineup for the hour.

Let's see how many other local newscasts that were blatant political cash grabs get axed, though that one's pretty blatant...

*Cough* WUAB's 7:30pm newscast! *cough*

Let's see how many other local newscasts that were blatant political cash grabs get axed, though that one's pretty blatant...

Yep. There wasn't much of a cash grab as commercial breaks consisted of in-house promos and PSAs. Plus it was an eyesore to watch in 16:9 480i.
