LexTVandRadio 418 Posted February 8, 2019 Posted February 8, 2019 Looks like a new set is on the way for WTVQ. This one has been around since Late 2008 when they went HD and bought by Morris.
LexTVandRadio 418 Posted February 10, 2019 Author Posted February 10, 2019 Some updates photos. It is a small studio.
LexTVandRadio 418 Posted February 15, 2019 Author Posted February 15, 2019 Time lapse video, taking down the set.
LexTVandRadio 418 Posted March 29, 2019 Author Posted March 29, 2019 Latest update: I think they've had some flooring issues.

Info Junkie 1286 Posted April 16, 2019 Posted April 16, 2019 Great... a station gets new graphics as soon as I made a montage for it... (sarcasm)
LexTVandRadio 418 Posted April 28, 2019 Author Posted April 28, 2019 A little sample of their new graphics. Should be getting close.
KnoxvilleTVFan 286 Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 Here are a couple of screenshots of WTVQ’s new look. They are using “This is the Place” by Stephen Arnold Music and Eric Gordon is announcer.
KnoxvilleTVFan 286 Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 You know, whether it's in-house or designed by Linear Drift or any other firm, I believe that WTVQ has some of the best graphics they've had in a while.
Samantha 2902 Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 It's not bad. The logo certainly needs help though, that's for sure.
Info Junkie 1286 Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 I think this is the first time Morris went out of house since the time KARK debuted the VDO graphics in 2002. (Morris sold them off in 2003).

Couldn’t agree more. The lower thirds even remind me of WLEX. This set is much better than what they had.
kfc513 238 Posted April 29, 2019 Posted April 29, 2019 Is WTVQ still owned by Morris? It’s hard to tell when the rest of their stations still look cheap.
MidwestTV 1241 Posted April 29, 2019 Posted April 29, 2019 Good lord what an upgrade. Amazing what actually shelling a few dollars and investing in something can do.

2cool4air 8 Posted April 30, 2019 Posted April 30, 2019 The font choice is an interesting one. I believe it's Gotham and it's already used in the same market by WLEX.
