C Block 1566 Posted October 13, 2019 Author Posted October 13, 2019 Losing people like Shep does also undermine the opinion side....Roger Ailes was genius enough that he knew he needed at least some legitimate journalists like Shep and Chris Wallace in order to justify calling the whole operation a news department.

That could explain why Smith was escorted out of the building after he ended his show. He left FOX News pretty abruptly.

Get Real You really ought to consider using “News division” carefully... that’s a title subject to interpretation in those parts and the opinion hosts drive the dollars over there anyways... they could slowly wean themselves away from news and nobody would notice a whole lot of difference or be outraged...
