He died!? Wow. That's completely shocking. He's been there for a very long time and its sad that his illness over the last two months is what killed him. This is so awful.

I hope staffers from 'rival' stations can work for WKRC when the staffers can attend his private funeral services, whenever that happens. It would be very respecting and amazement for other stations to do for WKRC in this very shocking time.

Anyways, RIP to one of Cincy's great weathermans because he truly died, doing what he loved.

John McLaughlin (the McLaughlin Group) has died at the age of 89, per tweets I'm seeing.
I wish his grandchildren well, because he left a legacy with his involvement in the education system (his group makes textbooks for schools)

WXYZ personality John Kelly has died at 88. He started at WJBK in 1965 and went to WXYZ in 1970 and spent the 70's alongside Bill Bonds as the original anchor pairing for Action News. He also hosted the talk shows Kelly & Co. from the mid 80's to mid 90's and Good Afternoon Detroit in the early 80's, both on Channel 7.

He was a fine man, and had many friends. He will be missed.

Longtime New York reporter Dick Oliver has died. He last worked at WNYW.

The same Dick Oliver lampooned by Bill Hader as "Herb Welch" on SNL several years ago...

Very sad news out of Savannah. WTOC morning news anchor Don Logana was killed in a car wreck early this morning. This is now the third WTOC male news anchor to die in the last decade. Steven Shoob died in 2008 in a car accident on I-95; Mike Manhatton succumbed to cancer two years ago, and now this.

Prayers to him, his family and for that TV station.
