Recently (Thursday,  Nov. 17), WHSV - serving Harrisonburg, VA and the Shenandoah Valley - debuted their brand new set that was designed by FX Design Group. It replaced their almost-two-decades-old set.

I'm sorry, but in this day and age, having such heavy bezel monitors behind you is so tacky/late 2000s... it looks very clunky... otherwise not a bad set

The bigger monitor wall on the side of the set would’ve been a better backdrop and bigger market feel for the anchor desk instead of its current placement.

I like the accent lighting behind the monitors. It's a small, but appreciated feature.

This has a lot of standard Tegna elements: broad white walls with a wooden band in the middle, layered walls behind the anchor desk, no identifying station/city features on set, and a blank white weather center desk with accent lighting.

No Jim. It's not. Either your trying to poke fun at your industry or your trying to take part in the cliche. It can't be both because that would be something only a stupid man would try to do.

I think the design is totally fine, especially for small market. The quality of the materials appears sterile office furniture-like.
