NBC- 4th of July Fireworks

Anyone know what’s going on with NBC? The Macys Fireworks Special started with 5 minutes of looking promos for Network shows and Olympics, and now an AGT rerun… At first I thought it’s my station, but Twitter says otherwise. 
 

7:09c update: they got the show going. Tech issues?

I'm watching on CNN, but curious to know what happened with NBC.

Here in Phoenix (KPNX) & I assume the rest of the Mountain Time Zone, starting similarly albeit going right into the start of AGT rerun with no promos & the Macy's Fireworks special coming on air at 7:08 MST. Guess NBC didn't want to go through, for Western viewers having to possibly spread out ad breaks a bit more to account for the delayed live ET/CT start.

Coming back from a commercial, Zuri Hall confirmed it was technical difficulties delaying the start of the broadcast.
