ABC 7 Denver 1889 Posted April 2 Posted April 2 I swear they just fired everyone, from the GM to the Engineers and the entire IT team. The website hasn't been updated since the deal closed. It's not even redirecting to http://wishtv.com. WRTV is now just a holding channel and network assets. 1 1

Wouldn't it be easier to convince ABC to agree to move the affiliation to WISH and make WRTV an independent? Edited April 2 by mre29

That is basically the whole point of the deal, I'd imagine. WISH can now get network prices on advertising on news they were already producing. It's the reverse of a network affiliate buying a My/CW/Indy station. 4
TheRolyPoly 3510 Posted April 3 Posted April 3 At least Kara Kenney gets to remain on WRTV's airwaves, joining CCB and WISH-TV. https://www.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1353184526634940&id=100058302151427 2
Megatron81 343 Posted April 6 Posted April 6 I feel sorry for those at WRTV losing their jobs with no notice whatsoever can they sue Circle City & Scripps as well?
mre29 1967 Posted April 18 Posted April 18 I just realized something about the footer of that statement from CCB. It would look a lot better if the WNDY logo matched the other two (and if "WRTV" was in bold). 1
Yankees4life 599 Posted April 25 Posted April 25 God dammit. Just what I was afraid of with this dude. RTV6 is screwed
