EthanR 3 Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 They only use Ten on rare occasions when 7's aren't available (such as in the Sydney seize situation), they mainly use 7's from what i've seen, hence why GMB's Sean Fletcher dropped into 7's Sunrise when he was in Australia last week.
fox2 191 Posted February 17, 2015 Author Posted February 17, 2015 Rick Ardon and Susannah Carr celebrate 30 years at 7 Perth - thanks largely to Rick and Sue, this is the network's powerhouse affiliate and by far the most-watched Seven station in the country: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UuVQIe5ecgA ...note that in the Sunrise interview, they talk about taking on those record-holders - Chuck and Sue from WNBC.

fox2 191 Posted August 11, 2015 Author Posted August 11, 2015 Seven launches local 4pm newscasts in Brisbane (4:00-5:30) and Melbourne (4-5pm). The new programs add to Seven's already news-heavy line-up - a 4pm 60-minute network newscast for the remaining Seven stations, as well as local 4:30pm news in Perth, and local 6-7pm news in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth.

I believe this is the first time that Seven Melbourne has produced an afternoon newscast since Seven's 4.30 News debuted in 2003.
lugnuts6 91 Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 at the 11:41 mark of the video, note whats on top of the boat.. nice accidental free plug for 9 lol
Eat News 4745 Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 7network seems to have all kinds of problems with the 9MSN logo showing up on air. Did they get the issue with the WA footy team sporting the 9 logo on the uni's resolved yet? The team was sponsored by 9...but the team games aired on 7. The AU take on the Megen Kelly/ Trump thing was classic as written in the NT Times.
TVNewsLover 787 Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 Why did you write bump on one post and then posts 8 additional posts with YouTube videos and nothing else?
fox2 191 Posted September 30, 2015 Author Posted September 30, 2015 Because I made the thread (inotherwords, if you make a thread, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't mind too much if you bumped a post); also the new format recently introduced has made old video posts now un-linked (inotherwords, the last page was cluttered with old, no-longer-working posts); and because it's a TV forum - people here like watching TV news, and I don't feel the need to comment on every video I post. A lot of the videos speak for themselves. If your main beef is because I wrote 'bump', I can add a video there if you like.
TVNewsLover 787 Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 No, I don't mind that you wrote bump or that you bumped the thread. I'm not sure why you think you own the thread because you started it. I have no beef with you. I was just wondering why you were posting 50 million videos with no explanation. Is it a crime to ask?
fox2 191 Posted October 1, 2015 Author Posted October 1, 2015 OK, well, all I said was I made the thread, not that I own it. Anyway, I posted them because it's a thread about Australian TV, because they don't need my explaining, and because (the ones that were posted in the old forum but no longer embedded) needed to be re-posted.
