  5. The Now is not a bad concept per say, but it's a show that has to be perfectly set up to run smoothly, otherwise it turns into a small-market budget show. Case in point, if the show involves having the anchor and reporters move around from location to location, they should make sure their set/studio doesn't look like crap. I don't even think KGTV notices that the floor in their studio looks horrendous. When you can see the floor/floor tiles start to bubble up then it's time for it to be redone.

  6. If he was, that would be the first time a Sinclair newscast would be watchable. On a serious note, that was a really good article and really shows how they're just money hungry people who will say whatever crap they believe will help make them more money. That said, I'm sure we're going to see another letter from Scott Livingston complaining about how persecuted he feels.

  8. Dick actually came in for the late news (NBC had the NFL preseason opener last night, so the news started around 10:40-ish). I'm assuming they gave Dick off at 6pm as a courtesy so that he wouldn't have a prolonged period between newscasts if the NFL game ran super long.

  12. The closet think made me laugh. The whole Keurig thing made me laugh - don't they know how expensive those pods are. They should of got one of those coffee makers that make eight things - something like a vending machine. Taking away coffee from the newsroom would cause a riot.
